The BasicsName: Christopher Suzuki
Nicknames: Chris
Age: 15
Orientation: Bisexual
Desired Rank/Job: Student
Powers: Shape-Shifting: Vending Machine. Christopher is able to change himself into a vending machine with Coca-Cola beverages inside. The beverages are actually his innards so he isn't willing to spill them out to quench someone's thirst. When money is inserted it is the equivalent of putting it in his pocket. Thus, when he changes back into his human form, the money put into the machine is then found in his pants pockets. He can only stay in his vending machine form for ten minutes, and the transformation is an uncomfortable process for Chris that leaves him with body aches and fatigue. The side effects cause him to have cravings for beverages from Coca-Cola. He is also very picky about how he receives money. He refuses to accept bills that have wrinkles or that aren't face up.

Eye Color: Dark Brown
Any Piercings? Nope
Any Tattoos? None
Any Scars? None, but he often has bruises on his shins from people kicking his vending machine form...
General Appearance: Tall and thin are two words that are often used to describe Chris. At 5'11" he is indeed tall, and with 133 pounds of an athletic build he is also thin for a boy of his age. Aside from his lankier stature, Christopher is a young man that shows his Japanese decent through his tawny skin and long eyes that sit on his round face. His dark eyes are very squinty, but with a pair of glasses that can easily be fixed. Chris' naturally dark hair has been dyed a lighter shade of brown, and kept at shoulder length.
Christopher gives different body language to different people. Around others his age, especially classmates, he stays slouching, leaning over his desk or with his arms cross. He tends to keep a scowl across his face and not look classmates in the eye. Chris purposefully tries to make himself look like someone to avoid when it comes to other students. Towards adults and others he's more open. He stands up straight, smiles politely, and gives the impression that he's listening like he cares (Even though he doesn't).
As far as Chris' style of clothing goes, he is generally very casual with it. A T-shirt or tank top with a pair of jeans or simple black slacks. While he prefers comfort over visual appeal, he makes sure he looks good in the clothes. Christopher has a bad habit of losing his glasses, so he keeps several pairs. Some are horn rimmed glasses that he is most commonly seen in, but he also has a few pairs of glasses with circular frames.
Personality: Chris is a bit of two faced kid. He tries his best to act as the multi-talented, well behaved kid when it comes to be around parents, teachers, and adults in general. He's a teacher's pet. He makes sure to get all of his work done on time with quality, and if he doesn't do well he makes sure to go see a teacher for outside help. He naturally censors himself to avoid swearing and obviously mean comments in front of adults. When censored Chris is a polite young man with manners and a kind word to spare. But he isn't always like that.
Christopher is very picky about the teenage company he keeps, and hates most of his classmates whether he actually knows them or not. He has a sort of mind set that makes him think that the people around him aren't worth spending time with. He acts coldly to kids, often telling them to shove off or mind their own business. He'd rather be spending time with his academics or sports than with people. Being at Hammel makes this behavior worse. Chris grew up not thinking fondly of metas, so being surrounded by teenagers with powers isn't a comfortable environment for him.
It takes some prying and a high level of tolerance to get Chris to actually open up to people around his age. Once he does, he can be a very very loyal friend. He doesn't take kindly to people talking behind his or his friend's back. He has a habit of complaining about life to his friends, and that is how he expresses trust. He isn't one to go sharing secrets, he just complains.
When it comes to how Christopher views himself, there's some self-loathing going on. Upon finding out he too was a meta, he couldn't stand it. He has a habit of brooding over it, and letting the idea that he is a meta stress him out. To make the matters worst, he doesn't even like his power in the slightest. He is embarrassed to share what his power, and gets angry quickly when the topic of powers comes up. He doesn't want to admit what he is, and attending Hammel does not help.Your VicesLikes:

Any Other Important People: NoneHistoryChristopher was born in Tottori, Japan as Kitaru Suzuki on June 29. Two years later his little sister, Tamiko popped out. The first three years of his life were spent in Japan. After his third birthday his family moved to a little town in Minnesota. His parents changed Tamiko and his name to something more understandable for English speaking people that was similar to their Japanese names. And that was how Kitaru became Christopher.
The town in Minnesota was one that had humans and metas on opposite sides of the tracks. Literally. As far as residential neighborhoods go, metas and humans just naturally made neighborhoods separately. The area of the town that metas mainly took residence in was like a little bubble compared to the rest of the town. The adults never really meant for isolation, and there was no outward hate towards one another. Humans and metas would often cross the tracks to go to work or shop. The Suzukis' new little house happened to be in the non-meta neighborhood. After that, Chris grew up thinking he was part of a happy little non-powered family.
The school of this town was closer to the non-powered neighborhood, and as all children attending had no powers, having a meta parent or not, they began to believe it was for a reason. As each year of school went on, the more convinced kids were that the metas were supposed to be in another neighborhood. Bullying for having a meta parent wasn't too uncommon, and if a kid went away around the start of high school it was obviously because they manifested.
In the beginning of his school life, Chris wasn't bullied for having meta parents. In fact, the whole place thought they were just a Japanese family of humans. Instead, he got teased for his "Engrish." It took him a good while to learn English, let alone loose the Japanese accent he earned for the three years in Tottori. As the years went on the accent faded away, and he started to make more friends around the town. He was a pretty happy kid. His parents still had high expectations for his academics, so he made sure he was a good student. He quickly became a teachers pet that was loved by many staff members around the school. He became a bit of a bully himself once he stopped getting teased. While he had several friends he trusted greatly, he was disliked by some for his suck-up attitude towards teachers and by others for being picked on as a meta-human's child.
The summer before middle school, Christopher's life came crashing down around him. After he turned eleven his parents began to have his blood tested for a meta power during his physical. They always told him it was to make sure he was healthy. At thirteen years old, the blood test came up positive. That was all it took for a recruiter to come to take him to Hammel. Chris' reaction was a mix of shock and anger. He didn't want to be a meta. His parents tried to calm him by telling him that they were also metas, but he only showed more anger towards them for hiding it. He locked himself in his room for the night, and the next day left reluctantly and without a word to anyone.
Chris detached himself once he got to Hammel. He kept up his good academics, and couldn't give up track for the life of him. But he didn't bother to go out of his way to make friends. He's still adjusting to the fact that he is able to turn into a vending machine of all things, and is still trying to perfect his power.
The young Japanese boy had no idea what to say at this point. He was too shocked by all of this.Roleplay Example"What...?" Christopher's eyes flicked from between his parents and the stranger.
"You are a meta-human. You are able to shape shift." The stranger repeated in a deep voice. Chris didn't like this guy. He appeared out of nowhere with the news that he was a meta-human.
Chris shook his head. "No... I-I can't be a meta. It's not possible." His mind was denying it. It had to be some elaborate joke. This man that appeared so suddenly. It was random. None of this could be true. But the way his mother looked at him left a sense of doubt about that in him. It was a little knot in his stomach.
"It is possible. What the man says is true, Kitaru." Chris looked at his father. He couldn't believe that he said that. He was only called Kitaru when the conversation got serious. His father continued in Japanese, "your mother and I are also metas." He went on to explain their powers; his mother was a coffee maker shifter; and his father was a cash register. It left Christ with another knot, this one in his throat. His parents were also metas. After all this time he grew up with an average family, they could turn themselves into a coffee shop if they wanted.
"So," his voice was quiet as he started, "what does that make me then? A vending machine."
"Actually, yes. We believe so." The stranger spoke up again.
It was all too much for one afternoon. The young Japanese boy could barely understand what was going on. He was shocked by it all. His parents metas, and he was too. "Hold on.... I'm seriously a vending machine? What kind of sick joke is this?!"
"It's not a joke, Kitaru, it's all true." His mother spoke this time. Her words were calm and quiet. "Please calm down. It's really nothing to get worked up about."
"Calm down? Why should I?!" Chris now yelled at his mother in Japanese. "You lied to me, both of you! All of my life! Now I have powers, and they aren't even good for anything! I'm just some dumb machine, and because of that I have to go to some school in the middle of nowhere?!"
The recruiter took a step forward. His mouth hung open to explain further, but Chris turned and stormed off. He could hear his father calling after him, but he only responded with slamming his bedroom door closed. He didn't want to hear it anymore. He didn't want it to be true. Flopping down on his bed he muttered quietly to himself, "I didn't ask for any of this..."What About You?Name: It's your friendly neighborhood Ax~
