General Appearance: Yanny stands about 5"10' and weights about 130. She is in great shape. Yanny is not one to wear really girly clothes although you can catch her in them every once in a while. Her long hair is normally pulled up into a pony tail or a bun, something so it stays out of her face while she is working, not much of a make up person either, she prefers the natural beauty. Her skin is tanned, soft, and she has nice curves. Her lips are full and lushes with a slight tan tint to them. Her smile is addicting and her white teeth are very healthy. She is one who likes to take care of herself, which she does very well.
Personality: Yanny is not your average girl. She is a total tom boy in almost every way. SOMETIMES you can catch her dolled up, but that is on a rare occasion, and she will not admit to wear any of it. She acts just like one of the guys, not afraid to do anything, she loves to get down and dirty weather it be on motor vehicles or on her job. Katryanna has high hopes and is very out going. She will speak her mind no matter the person, or time. She tends to be very honest almost to the point of rudeness.

She does have her sensitive side, when it comes to kids, animals stuff like that but that doesn't always last. She is a hard person to get close to because she does not want to end up hurt. Katryanna hates loosing people she cares about. She is dedicated and a hard worker. Loves to get down and dirty and defiantly loves her cars. She is good with weapons and tools, as well as her hands and body especially her mind because that is where her power lies. Yanny is also very intelligent and witty. She knows how to maneuver around things and has fast reflexes. Be careful Yanny has a very bad temper on her and she will not be afraid to take it out on you if you get in her way. She will try to control it when around younger people. Yet it's still a nasty thing to see especially with her powers. She does not have one thing that really triggers her temper except when people try to dig into her history or continuously talking about her dead younger brother.

History

Yanny is the only daughter born out of three other boys, which was a little hard on her since most of them always picked on her, but she grew to love them and it worked out for her benefit besides not being a girly girl. When she was in her younger stages of life she went to Hammel to help control her powers, it was something she wanted not so much her family. Yet she went and loved all of it. Both of her parents died in a horrible car crash along with her youngest brother who was only 19. John was her closest friend in the whole world, other than her father her and her brother were the only ones with special powers so those to related to each other. This devastated Yanny. Her older brothers always picked on her when they were younger. But that was natural its how her family worked. Her mother was an alcoholic and paid no mind to any of the kids really, she just drank all her problems away not caring what anyone said to her or about her, so Yanny did all the cleaning and cooking for the family. Her father was rather abusive, and hit the kids often. Yanny often took more of the beatings since she was the women and would not let her younger brother get caught in the middle of things. She does not want to talk about any of her family members really, it tends to be a very sensitive subject for her and will get her very angry very fast. Because of her drunken mother she lost her best friend and family member. That night her mother refused to let anyone drive; forcing her son in there the dad got in as well not really paying too much mind to what was going around them. This loss took such a toll on Yanny she lost control of everything for a bit, being locked up in a special area for people like her who are a bit crazy, getting her some help which was good for her. After gaining back her control she went back to The Hammel Institute.

After a while of being alone she went into teaching and training kids how to use their powers. She wanted to help younger kids with powers to control them and stay in control of them. Yanny knows what its like to loose control and feel helpless, its the worst feeling ever and she never wants to go through it again so with helping kids learn she is also helping herself. As for her other siblings she does not really see them much anymore since she is different they don't really know how to relate to her. They can with stand each other while in public when they do meet up but other than family things they have no sense of seeing each other. Yanny is OK with that because it is too hard for her. To this day Yanny still cries over her lost younger brother, she can not seem to get over it but it was her best friend the one person she could really be close to and open with. Now she is afraid to get close to anyone fully.

Jackie woke up early to get ready for work. She was a Nurse at St. Rose Hospital. Jackie loved her job, it may not have been glamorous but she was helping people and that's what she liked to do. Plus it was good money for her. Stretching she sat up, tossing her legs over the edge of the bed getting ready to get up. A yawn escaped her lips as she walked over to her bathroom for a shower. Turning up the hot water she let her silk lingerie slid down her body. Reaching up Jackie let her hair fall past her shoulders, a sigh of relief escaped her delicate lips. Stepping into the shower putting her face under the water letting it just cleanse her whole body and mind.

A Couple minutes later she got out, towel draped around her she took a seat at her vanity. Putting on some make up and brushing her hair she got ready in only fifteen minutes. Pulling on her nursing out fit she headed out of the door. Turning back to grab her coat and her keys than once again heading off to work. A smile sat on Jackie's face as she walked down the streets heading to the hospital. It was a good day for her a little chilly but good. On her way down there was a loud scream and a gun shot, people were hitting the street in fear!

Jackie say a person go down, he was shot and the car with the gunman in it skid off, the wheels leaving smoke behind. Her heart began pounding as she took off across the street to the person laying. When she got there the man was laying in a crimson pool dropping to her knees she pulled out gloves from her purse. Luckily she was trained for this kind of thing but Jackie never thought she would have to use it. "Call 911!" She yelled as she pulled out some wrappings from her bag placing it on the wound adding pressure the guy screamed. Soon enough the ambulance rushed there taking the man away letting Jackie rid with him.

Getting to the hospital in no time they took the poor man to the ICU and Jackie left to start her shift. Sitting down in the waiting room first, she was a little shook up at what just happened. Taking a deep breath she pulled herself together. standing up she went into the STAFF ONLY room putting her stuff into her locker and than checking in. Jackie was ready to start her shift at the Hospital hoping to help more people like she did earlier.

Good Start!
This is a solid beginning for a character, but I'm going to need you to address some issues before we accept her.

First is personality, I'd just like a little bit more. You mentioned she has quite the temper, so what gets her angry? Does she have anything that really triggers her temper?

As for her history, again, I need to see more. You skipped huge parts of her life. If she grew up in the US, she would have gone to Hammel for training her power. (No way around that one.) So why not talk about the years she spent in training? Her little brother would have gone to Hammel too, is that when they got really close? When did the car crash happen in relation to the rest of her life? Was it a few years ago? A few months? How long has she been working for Hammel?
