Odion was very excited about today. He had something big planned, something fun and just for the two of them. He hadn’t slept a wink the night before, and finally gave up on it altogether when four o’clock rolled around. So instead, he opened up his laptop and surfed around. He was too worried about things being messed up today, so instead, he kept himself busy online, trying to stay distracted, although he couldn’t help but keep checking a certain airline page.
Rhett knew as well as he did what today meant, and had sent him a vague text to be ready at seven in the morning and that it would be worth the early morning wake up.
Soon enough, Odion lost track of time, a small smile on his face as a couple hours passed before he realized it was high time he got up and got ready. He showered and put on his best pair of dark wash jeans and a light grey sweater. He called up a cab to be there around 6:50 and he made sure to keep track of time as though his life depended on it. He let out a nervous sigh as he picked up two duffel bags, filled with clothes, pyjamas, swimming trunks, toiletries, and other odds and ends. In his pocket were two passports, and a wallet full of cash.
After the hell the two boys had put up with over the past month, it was high time they did something fun, and just for themselves, and explore America a little more. Everything was planned for the entire weekend.
Outside it was getting cold, so Odion quickly put the two bags in the taxi’s trunk and told the driver he would be right out, and the man gave the ginger a suspicious look, so he rolled his eyes and put a twenty in the guy’s hand. Seriously, wasn’t he supposed to look innocent and trustworthy?
Making his way back into the dorms, he slipped into Rhett’s dorm despite it being locked (what kind of street kid couldn’t pick a lock?) and then into the blonde’s room, regardless of whether he was up yet or not. “Are you ready to go?” He asked impatiently, crossing his arms in front of him. If he wasn’t, Odi would have to go back outside and give that guy another twenty in ten minutes time.
