Limbo, anyone? (open)

He could blame Zac, really, for the music he was listening to.

The rich spoiled kid just had to get him addicted to MBLAQ and Teen Top, and now the songs he had were on repeat as he lay there, gazing at the puzzle of the leaves above him. He reflected upon all that happened to him since he had come here as he listened to the music pouring into his ears. He had met so many people, had broken a heart, had made a girl run from him, and now he was just in limbo, with nowhere to go and nothing to do.

He wanted to be a doctor, save the injured, heal the sick, so on and so forth, and he almost had a hold on his powers…almost. He still had the occasional fainting spell if he touched someone too hurt for his body to heal immediately, and it frustrated him. How was he supposed to help people if he couldn’t help himself?

He sighed and closed his eyes, folding his arms under his head as he relaxed. He wore an open plaid shirt over a tank top and some ripped jeans, his leg bent at the knee and his feet comfortable in sneakers.

Rayne hadn't been out of the house much for a few weeks. Call it what you'd like, but the truth was...she had nowhere to go. She had few friends and she was too afraid of the outcome to get any. The lake seemed like a good place to go. Empty. Or so she had hoped. She was unsure of her mood at the moment. It was a mix between anxiety, nerves and shyness. Rayne was afraid she'd meet someone and they'd ask about her past. She had never really perfected her fake story. Her parents and her had been split up and their friends took her in.

The truth. Well no one else knew that besides her parents.

She drove down in her little red mini Coupe and parked her car before she hopped out. Rayne was wearing a mid-thigh length, black dress with black flip-flops and her hair pulled back into a loose bun. She always dressed up, it was sort of a way to express herself. Mature, responsible, but still flirty. That was her personality in a nut shell. She didn't really care what people had to say about her formal attire that she wore daily. It didn't bother her.

She walked along the side of the lake for a little while, humming soft songs to herself. First she heard the party music, then she saw the boy. Maybe boy wasn't the right term, but he was younger than her by a few years. That much she could tell. She chewed on her bottom lip until she built up the strength to actually socialize with him. Shy? No. Afraid? Yes.

"Are you enjoying the weather?" Rayne asked in a quiet, yet kind tone.
