Laurina hadn't really done much since she'd gotten to the University. She'd gotten her books and all, gotten settled into her new apartment, and that was the extent of her adventures so far. So with all that she hadn't done there was shopping she needed to do. She didn't have enough clothes, but then again, a woman never could. So she'd gotten dressed and headed to the mall.
The car her grandparents had gotten her was enough to turn a few heads, but not by much. As she pulled into the parking lot and stepped out of the car, she thought about her choices she'd made in life; reflected back on her parents and her fallout with them. She pushed the thoughts from her mind and started walking toward the front door.
As the powered doors slid open, the wind being let out by the air conditioner took her hair into suspension. She traveled into the various, different stores inside the mall. She hoped someone would come and talk to her, but she wasn't sure if they would.
