Hesitation occurred. She stopped in front of his dorm door, wondering if she should knock or pass on. She had been thinking more about him the past couple of weeks and while he had been out with her, she supposed the club night counted, she couldn’t get a hold of herself. The last time she had seen him when, well, she was naked. She had been practicing transforming into her wolf form. Of course, she couldn’t keep it very long. The longest she ever kept it was when she had transformed the first time. It had taken her father and her brother to calm her down which ended up being about two hours. She knew that wasn’t bad as a beginner but she had been under a lot of emotional stress and the stress on her body was painful as well. Her joints had hurt afterwards, just like they hurt now. The pain usually stayed around a week or two, before finally subsiding. She chewed on her bottom lip and raised her hand.
“Am I really going to do this?” Lyssa was standing in the middle of the hallway. Lyssa was standing in front of her crush’s door, which was more than she could say for him. She thought of her father, if he knew that she finally was going to do something right instead of make-out with the first guy that paid attention to her. Her father’s lack of trust and among things was really bugging her that day. She put her head on the side of the wall, pressing her body into it when boys came running down the hallway. They all seemed so happy. She was still hesitating.
Lyssa finally brought her hand down on the door, knocking a little too loudly for her liking. She shifted from foot to foot wondering when this hell was going to end. She was about to turn away when the door opened.
