Tanner blushed a deep shade of red at Morgana's compliment, and there was no hiding it. "Well, I don't know about that," he said through an embarrassed smile and a slight shrug. He really, really didn't like it when people piled on the compliments; not that it happened terribly often, but it made him feel meeker than ever. "It's just something I enjoy doing, so I figure, since it's one of my last years here, might as well create something that will hopefully continue after I leave," he added with another shrug. "A few of my friends are joining, too," he replied to her question. Actually, they were basically his only friends, but that was beside the point; at any rate, they were the only people he felt comfortable asking. Perhaps after the club was created, they could flyer or put an ad in the school paper and get more people to join. Or heck, Zac could just shout it from the rooftops, knowing that kid... "Lindsey, who I mentioned before. And Zac, another friend of mine. You only need three to petition for a club, but with you it's four, so it should be a done deal I hope," he said. Well, this would be fun: his friends hanging out, cooking (well, the three of them already did, but Morgana would join them so it would be even cooler). This could lead to good things.

When Tanner blushed, Morgana became a little uncomfortable. She could literally feel the blush and actually blushed a bit herself. When she was younger, she felt only particular emotions at a stronger scale. Now, however, it was the intensity of the emotions. The more intense it was, the more that Morgana felt it. Clearing her throat, Morgana gave Tanner a small smile. She didn't want him to know that it was his emotions that had caused her to feel like this. "I think that's a really smart idea, Tanner. I'm sure that it will help a lot of students unleash their inner cook."

Morgana was a little excited when she found out that a few other people were also part of the club. She nodded when he mentioned Lindsey. Morgana didn't need to be an empath to know that he was fond of Lindsey. She must have been a really good friend to him. "Well, I know that Lindsey is a nice girl, but I've never met Zac. What's he like?"

As the blush subsided - and he didn't notice Morgana's, as he was not feeling particularly perceptive at the moment - it was replaced by a soft smile. This girl was obviously very nice, and that was a good thing, because Tanner hated people who were rude, especially to people they didn't know. "Well, I hope so," he said lightly, fingers drumming delicately on the table beside his book, which it seemed apparent he would not be reading much of that afternoon.

When Morgana asked what Zac was like, Tanner had to think about it. "Well..." he began, deciding to think out loud. "He's fun. Loud. Rambunctious. Can be a bit obnoxious sometimes. But he's a good enough guy." He shrugged his shoulders; that wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement, now was it? "He's kind of that one friend I have who isn't really like the rest. Most of them are pretty chill." 'Most.' Right. Because he had so many friends. Well, Morgana didn't need to know how much of an exaggeration that was. "Well, hey, once the club gets the 'okay' from the administration, you should definitely come to the first meeting. I'm not sure what we're gonna do, but... yeah."

A laugh escaped her lips when Tanner described Zac. He definitely seemed like an interesting person. She had met a few people who had his personality and it turned out that they were quite friendly. Morgana wasn't one for judgement, so she would make her opinion about him when she met him. "Zac sounds...interesting. I'm looking forward to meeting him."

Morgana smiled when Tanner said that she should come to the first meeting. She liked the fact that Tanner and her were becoming friends. Friends were always a good thing, especially if you were Morgana. "You'll definitely see me at the first meeting. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

Tanner gave a chuckle. "Yeah, Zac's, uh... quite a character," he replied, shaking his head somewhat. Just the thought of the kid made him laugh. The other didn't know he was gay but would occasionally call him a "fag" or try to flirt with him, which would usually make the blonde uncomfortable for a few minutes before he got used to it. Heck, it was Zac, he did that with everyone, didn't he?

"It should be a fun time," he said regarding the club. "We'll probably meet in my room, since there isn't really a central location with a kitchen and all that," he said with a shrug. "Just a thought, I mean usually Lindsey and Zac hang out in my room anyway."

((Bah, this is actually terrible and unacceptably short. I just can't think of anything else for them to talk about! Tanner and I have only been here for a few days, so we really don't have any other experiences to draw from XD))

Now she definitely wanted to meet this Zac. The way that Tanner described him made Morgana think that he was one of those kids. The kind of kids that could get anyone to like them. If she knew how obnoxious he really was, Morgana would never have wanted to meet him. But she didn't, so it was just her bad luck. Or good luck.

"I was thinking, Tanner, instead of waiting for the first meeting, why don't we go round up Lindsey and Zac now? It'll be like an informal meeting; I can meet the two of them and we can start making some plans for the actual meeting. It's not like anyone will stop us from planning ahead." Morgana laughed at the thought of the one of the teachers scolding them for planning. It was just too absurd.

((Don't worry about it being to short. My posts became shorter and shorter too But this way we can start another thread with Lindsey and Zac. What d'ya think?))

Tanner's eyes lit up. "Hey yeah, that's a great idea!" He said, getting rather excited now at Morgana's brilliant suggestion. "I mean, there's no sense in waiting before having a preliminary sort of meeting, just to get our act together." He reached down into his backpack and took out his phone - he usually kept it in his backpack, rather than his pocket, when he was at the library in order to avoid the distraction. Not that his phone was exactly ringing off the hook, but even so. "Here, I'll text them and we'll find a time we're all free if we aren't all free now. I'm sure they'll both like you a lot." He supposed that was kind of a weird thing to say, but hey, he was getting excited, and that did not happen often for the pyro. "Oh, umm..." Here he started blushing a bit again; it was very much unlike him to do this, but he figured there was no other way to keep in touch in case they had to meet at a later date. "Do you... do you think I could get your number? You know, just to add in my phone, for... yeah."

((Hmm, we can probably end this thread here, then I'll get in touch with Jam and Sera and see if they want to thread. It might be a day or two since I don't want to force them to start up a thread if they've already got a lot going, but we'll definitely make this happen soon!))

Morgana almost jumped when Tanner became quite happy at her suggestion. He had become more social as the time progressed and his sudden outburst of excitement surprised her, but in a good way. It meant that her job was done, or at least partly done. Hopefully she would meet someone else who she could help. Morgana's mother had always said that she should be a teacher. Morgana still had time, so she wasn't sure what she wanted to be yet.

"Great! I truly can't wait for our informal first meeting." When he asked her for her phone number, Morgana felt her mouth twitch at the edge. She knew that this was uncomfortable for Tanner so that was why she quickly gave it to him. Instead of saying it out loud, Morgana typed it on her notepad on her phone and showed it to Tanner. There were some odd people out there and she didn't want someone to start calling her every minute. "Whenever you have the meeting, text me. I'll be there immediately." Morgana stood up and gave Tanner a smile. "Well, I better get going. Have fun with your book, and make sure to text me when you have the meeting." She picked up Beloved and left, a smile plastered on her face.
