Their eyes met, and Tanner was immediately enraptured. They were light blue, those eyes, and they were gorgeous - like two pools he could simply fall into. Actually, Tanner was afraid of pools and other large bodies of water, but not these - these beckoned him forward, invited him to come closer, to match their bodies together, to drown in those pools and relinquish himself to the beautiful boy beside him. And for a moment, he was actually considering doing it, actually thinking about closing the small gap between them and just crashing their lips together. After all, they were right there. He could do it. He could get away with it. Hell, he could make Robbie want it.
It was these delusional fantasies that Tanner was unceremoniously pried from when the other blonde suddenly jumped up off of the couch, the textbook flying up with him, and it was all Tanner could do to quickly put his hands in front of his face, lest it hit him. "What-" He was very confused now; he hadn't heard the boy's words all too clearly - something about not working out and a guitar solo? The blonde shot up to his feet, his mind racing with his heart as Robbie was saying something about paying him. "What? I don't want to be paid," he urged, hugging his textbook tightly to his chest as his breathing began to accelerate. What on earth was going on? Was Robbie kicking him out? What did he do? Was it that obvious that he was attracted to him that the weather manipulator was trying to get rid of him? This was all happening too fast.
The blonde grabbed the soda bottle (only because it was being literally forced on him) and attempted to juggle it with no free hands. "I don't want your soda, what the-" He was struggling for words, mostly because they were talking over each other, but also because he was starting to panic. Weren't they friends? What was going on? If he could just take this whole day back, he would. This was not how things were supposed to be going, and he cursed his stupid hormones for making him feel all of these things. He felt himself being pressured to move towards the door, and he took a few backward steps in that direction, but unwillingly. "Dude, what the hell is going on?" He asked, hurt by this sudden change in the boy's demeanor.
