A Need to Finish What I've Started --open

Anna ran her fingers along the railing of the stairs that led to the training grounds. She had such a tactile sort of ability, and hadn't been able to get to the level of 'oh, let me just look at you and peer into your soul and reveal your darkest secrets' just quite yet, so how this whole training thing was supposed to work, she wasn't quite sure of. She'd tried to train with other students, but they'd try to blow her away or keep her away from her in some way, shape or form, and she'd tried to touch them so that she could get a glimpse of their soul, and come out of the trance-like state she was put into without being blown to smithereens. So basically, it was a mess and she just looked like an utter idiot trying to train with those physically-inclined metas. She needed someone else, either a mind-based meta or a trainer to help her get farther with her skills. Otherwise, she'd be trying to find ways to come in contact with humans or otherwise and read their thoughts. Especially as the climax of her skills could mean such easier access, she needed to train to be better so she could get there.

Anna had actually put out a post on the social networking site that all the meta kids used here, and from what she'd heard back from a mysterious someone, there was someone interested in training with her. Thing was, she didn't know if it was going to be another one of those hopeful physical-metas or if it was going to be someone who actually matched her searching database personality, student, or trainer. Whomever it was, at least on the latter of points, she'd accept. Let the training, begin.
