Mia giggled, she glad that Ravyn agreed with her. She would have told that to anyone, even if that person were American. But it was so true; kids were getting obese because of how spoiled the generations have gotten. Every five years it seems like they’re making something else to make American’s and the world lazy. She smiled “Ah Really? It’s really cold in Barrow though. I would love for you to come during the late winter that way you can see the northern lights, but it will be super cold.” And She will be able to witness the ‘no sun’ in the winter time there too. They could also go polar bear watching and dog sledding. “I would like to see your town too.” Mia laughed “No, no we don’t. But I did make an igloo one winter when I was younger and one day I had gotten mad at my parents for something I don’t remember what for… But I had threatened to live in the igloo because of it.. It only lasted like four hours, it would have been less if it wasn’t for the dogs that joined me..”
Mia was grateful to the girl for not asking any questions about it. She really didn’t want to talk about it. She smiled and nodded “Thank you.” She kind of felt jealous of the girl who had plenty of money to spear, she only had like twenty bucks and that was from saving for two weeks. She really did need to get a job, she wondered if she could get one at that doughnut shop they had met at. She grinned “This was fun.” She was glad to be able to look back at today and remember what a great time they had together. “Can I get I picture with both of our stuff animals?” She took out her phone and went to the camera setting. Mia smiled as she looked at the polar bear “Yeah it’s a mini Mia..” She giggled a little “They already have the lyrics.” She pushed the bear’s paw for it to play the lyrics she had sung for it.
Of course Mia didn’t seem more defensive, she really didn’t care about who he was friends with. She knew she was just another girl to him and that’s how she would like to keep it but she couldn’t help but think Cameron was trying to get close to her. Why? She had no clue; she didn’t know what he had to gain from it. She wished she could read his mind; because she was totally confused with his true intentions. She frowned “Oh I’m sorry.” She wondered what happened considering it didn’t seem hard to get on the guy’s bad side. Believe her she knew, she said a lot of rude things to him that would tick off anyone else but he just was obvious to it or something. It was starting to frustrate her but she also wondered if he would accept her scars.
Mia smiled at the ending result with the girl’s hair. “Red streaks suit you well. Maybe next time you can try a lighter color?” Babysteps? She didn’t know what that really was. She was the kind of person to jump right in and not think about the outcome. It’s how she got her hair color and style like it was and it’s how she tried to commit suicide, it was her impulsive nature that got her to do a lot of the things she did. Because if she thought about it she wouldn’t have done half the stuff she had done. “I’m glad you love it.” Because if she hadn’t she would blame herself. “It’s no problem. I’m all about making other’s look unique in their own way.” Her’s was more of an outgoing unique but still unique. She hugged back, this was the closest she had been to anyone in a long time, a year really, before events happened.
Mia walked toward a soda vending machine, put a dollar into it, and pressed the button for water. She had enough soda for a couple hours. She opened the bottle and took a sip just to choke on it when Ravyn asked about her dating Cam. “Excuse me?” She managed to say after she recomposed herself. “How long have we been dating? We aren’t dating at all.. Why would you…” She stopped and looked at the ceiling when Ravyn answered her question before she could finish it. She bit her lip and shook her head. “I’m going to kill him..” She said under her breath. “Okay look we aren’t dating.” She didn’t realize Ravyn was the one Cam was talking about. She was still trying to wrap her mind around the fact that Cameron told his ex that they were dating. He used her, and now she knew what his intentions were. She heard and felt thunder, she was upset yes but her exterior was completely calm. She didn’t want to freak Ravyn out.
