Odion had been in a bad mood lately. Rhett’s birthday had been a couple weeks ago, but it had affected him more than he wanted it too. You’d think, after being abandoned by his boyfriend, Odi would eventually realize Rhett wasn’t worth missing. Odi spent a lot of time in his room, wishing that Lani would take the kittens for a while so he could stop worrying about them. He thought Lani was going to be there like he said he would, but lately, he had been asking Odion to have the kittens over many weekends. It wasn’t like Odi had much of a social life that he couldn’t spend all weekend in his room, making sure the kittens weren’t found, but still, it was the prerogative of the story.
“I promise I’ll be back soon,” he said to the mewing kittens as he slipped out of his dorm room. He wasn’t heading to the library to study or anything, he just wanted a distracted. He pulled down his button up shirt and left the boy’s dorms. It was actually quite nice outside, but he didn’t really want to leave the building and it’s lovely air conditioning. He was feeling rather hungry, but cafeteria food simply wouldn’t do to ease his appetite.
And that’s when the idea hit him. Odion made his way to the library, intent on actually using the facility for what it was for. His eyes scanned over the rows of books, and he approached the cooking section once he found it. Maybe he could make something suitable to eat. He hadn’t exactly thought about where he would cook it, but a man could dream couldn’t he? He pulled down the first book he saw on French cuisine and let his mouth water over the pictures. Even if he did find a place to cook, where would he get the ingredients?
