Evidently there was more to Cat than Alice was seeing presently. The young woman was timid, yes, but underneath all that timidness was a sly young woman. Cat was intelligent and if pushed just right Alice surmised the other woman could be quiet fun in so many different ways. This new creature before her would prove herself with Alice in the end and Alice would have such fun in getting Cat there.

Alice wasn't surprised at the way Cat shied away from physical contact, it fit her to do so. This would only push Alice further in this department, after all, pushing others out of their comfort zone and watching them dance about in new found light amused Alice. Alice could see the innocence in Cat and would delight in erasing that part of her, making her into a creature such as she. Cat was about to enter into the mad world of Alice Halifax, a world where all things revolved around young Alice and her wants. She wold groom Cat into her plaything and perhaps something even more personal. There was so many things Cat needed to be introduced to and so many things to teach her. In time, Cat would come to appreciate the touch of Alice's hand, in many different ways.

Alice smiled and let her hand slip back to her side, listening to Cat defend herself. Alice gave Cat her moment, choosing not to interrupt but wait patiently, it was just good manners. Cat didn't take kindly to being referred to as weak but it was how she appeared, whether that was intentional or not. However her reference of the lingerie store as being too girly made Alice laugh and giggle. "Of course it is silly girl," she said, mocking Cat some, trying to rile her up a bit, "That's the point of such places sweetheart. I can't wait to get you in there. I've already got a few things in mind you can try on first," she said with that coy devious smile of hers, "and if you need some help some of the more intimate silky attire, I'll be more than glad to help you put them on," Alice added with a wink as she bit at her bottom lip some.

Cat wasn't quite sure what to think of Alice. All she was sure of was that the girl made her vary. She wasn't sure what to think, how to act, and what to do. When Alice was around she couldn't hide and that was her greatest aid to deal with social situations. She couldn't help it, if that was what she was good at. She was timid yes, but she was an expert in being timid.

There were days when Cat wondered why in the world she was even trying. People weren't nice, weren't good. To tell the truth Cat had no faith in humanity, much less meta humans. Sometimes people meant well, but it always ended up badly. There was no doubt about that at least. Am I supposed to be happy? That was the constant question that ran through her head. Everything that she did or didn't do came with a price. FranklyCat was tired of burdening herself on others. It was much easier to hide and be hidden, or at least that is what she believed. It wasn't a habit, but a belief. Belief's were not easily changed, Catherine knew that from experience.

Cat frowned as Alice giggled and laughed at her. She wasn't supposed to laugh. Blushing she looked down had just shook her head. Alice didn't understand. She wasn't supposed to go into that sort of store. She wasn't good enough for that sort of store and it embarrassed her to even go in there. Alice's comment's were not helping at all either. They just made the blush worse and the hair fall further in front of her face as they walked into the store. Sighing Cat looked into the store with a wince. "Let us just get this over with." Was it over yet?
