"No, the problem here is that you do not know your place. That is all." he stated playfully to the other man. Though he laughed to the other man's words. "If my mind is small then yours must be non-existent." He taunted in response. Leiken was having far too much fun tormenting the other male.

"Really? Is that so? I do not think you've figured much of anything out. If you had you would be far from here by now I assure you." he chimed in amusement toward Odion. He laughed lightly, unable to help it, the other man was far to entertaining for his own good. "A curb stomp? What do you think you are a gang banger?" he teased. "how cute."

"that is what you get for thinking." he chimed to the other male. "oh, but i thought you already had me figured out? Tch. "he remarked when the other male noted that he was surprised by the kiss.

As he approached the other man he almost expected the man to strike him, but he would see how far he could get without such occuring. How far he could push that man into breaking his resolve. "You should be. " he cooed to the other male as it was declared that he was not afraid. If the other male did not stop him Leiken would move to press himself against the other male's body, bringing a hand to his jawline, while his face neared to Odion's once again. Though he spoke so that his breath would brush those lips he'd stolen a kiss from minutes before.

"You should give up now. It's okay. The weak always run away. It is natural. " he taunted. Giving him a playful grin as his tongue passed his own lips to brush against the other man's lips, "Are you afraid yet?" He teased as he moved in hopes of capturing that male's lips in a much fiercer kiss. One that would be meant for invasion. He kept close distance all the while.

“Nobody tells me what my place is but me,” Odion stated. It seemed like the go to reaction was laughing. Odion wasn’t getting a thing out if his. “You won’t need any help finding your wallet then I suppose,” Odi suggested, unbothered by Leiken’s words. His comebacks were becoming a bore.

“You’ll know when I figure it out.” Leiken could rest assured that Odion got himself into trouble many times. Odi held back the swing in his arm. As a matter of fact, he had been in a gang, and after he was done it that, he still managed to shoot someone in the foot. It was better not to say anything and remain calm. Leiken was no mind reader and Odion wasn’t going to backdown.

“I didn’t say all figured out,” Odi said, buying his time. This guy was good, but he wasn’t so good as to walk away from a verbal attack. Odi had him hooked.

Odion scoffed. “Why would I be afraid of you? You’re not really that original you know,” he said, a soft smirk on his face. Wasn’t this what Rhett had done when Odion first came to Hammel? The memory wasn’t helping Odi keep his cool, or think that people had good intentions.

The distance closed and Odion felt himself tense for battle. Not one part of him liked this, and maybe this was the logical place to give up, to hand over the wallet, and walk away. Leiken wasn’t worth reacting. But that was just it. Leiken kissed him again and Odion resisted the urge to puke. It was hard to think about how this would be the memory of the second person who kissed him. But he wasn’t kissing back.

“Have you satisfied your curiosity yet? You're boring me,” he stated, glancing at the clock in the library. Not a lot of time would pass. His gaze turned into daggers as he looked back to Leiken, breathing the same air as him and bringing nothing but rage with Odion. It was like he had taken twenty steps forward to not being so angry, and now he was back at the starting line.

"Tch. A typical child response. " he stated with a tone of disappointment. Head tilting somewhat in the way that a curious animal would to something distracting. Though there was nothing there that he could see just yet that would be so very distracting. He merely found it amusing that the other male had lost so much fight within just a short few minutes.


Leiken shook his head to the statement, giving a small grin to the other male, "You will never figure me out. That is would be doing the impossible. " Leiken was sure of that much. There was far to much of himself that he would never speak to another being. Meta-human or not it took a lot to earn that sort of trust from him. There was only one person in the entire city who who had ever seen him fall apart and he was determined to make sure that never happened again.

"Nor are you. Looking like you do i'm surprised you even used -that- line." he cooed to the other man. "However, you should be quite afraid, but telling that to someone like you..." he trailed off. Not finishing the sentence though the smirk on those lips told of the mockery it was intended for.

Though the other male did not return that affection less kiss he would still press it upon the other male to spite him. The hand he'd placed on that jawline would trail to brush his fingertips along the lips his own separated from then. "You will be far less alive before I am satisfied. " He stated in an aggravated tone.

He slid his hand down the other man's neck, smoothing his palm over the surface of his chest, edging it lower bit by bit as he spoke to the other male. "Look at how pathetic you are allowing me to do this to you. I bet I could bend you over and have my way with you right here and you'd just let me do it. " That whisper was given with a mild tone of disgust. "You may act prideful, but my dear... " he began as he drew his face close to the other male's own "...but a man with any pride would not allow such emotionless violations."

He would press his lips firmly against the other male's one more time before he spoke against them playfully. "I pity you for your lack of self respect." he stated with a tone that that seemed almost disappointed. He slid his arms around the other male's body, wrapping them there, holding him in his arms the way that someone would comforting a child in pain. "You're far to pathetic for your own good. " he chimed as though it were supposed to comfort the other male in some way.

He let go of the other man then, shifting to move around him then, folding his arms behind his head as he walked. "Too bad you're a pathetic thief with no self worth. I imagine in another life, where you weren't so lame, I could have liked you." He called over his shoulder to the other male. His time was wearing thin, he didn't want to stay to long in one place, it risked to much. Especially if his trainer happened to pass through, it would ruin his entire plan if the man found out about the book he'd been reading, and he couldn't have that. Maybe it was paranoia, but he could have sworn he'd seen the man lurking nearby.

No matter, he wanted to leave right then, to take his victory over the other man and leave him with those words. As well as that disgust. He knew to well what that felt like and it made him pleased to pass it on the other male as punishment. He licked lightly at his own lips, muttering aloud, "It'll take forever to get this filthy taste out of my mouth."

“That just proves how much you don’t know about me,” Odion said, determination settling into his mind. He had successfully found a new side project. The school kept records of everyone and he was going to get his filthy hands on Leiken’s record. He literally had all the time in the world to figure him out, could even go into his past and review the things Leiken didn’t want anyone to see. Odion smirked at the thought – Leiken didn’t know what he was doing.

"Nor are you. Looking like you do I'm surprised you even used that line," he cooed to the other man, "however, you should be quite afraid, but telling that to someone like you...” Odion didn’t grace what Leiken said with a response. It simply didn’t make any sense. Looking like what? Odi wondered if they were even playing the same game.

“What the fuck are you talking about?” Odion asked, ignoring Leiken’s touch. The redhead simply didn’t operate that way, such physical contact only unnerved him when the person actually meant something to him. His blood literally felt on fire though.

Odion smiled, highly amused. “Big words coming from someone who’s throwing around affections like they’re nothing, and coming from you, they are. The very fact that you keep bringing up what manhood is, means that you don’t know yourself.”

Odion just stared at him, a single eyebrow raised as Leiken moved in to ‘comfort’ him. Odi just wasn’t bothered by any of this anymore, not when he knew what Leiken was trying to do. Stopping time, Odion sauntered over to the man who had just insulted him repeatedly, and left. Just for the hell of it, he opened up Leiken’s mouth and spat into it. That was really becoming a bad habit but if Leiken was going to complain about it, he may as well have a reason to.

Time resumed normally and Leiken would find himself about to walk into Odion. “Next time you think it’s a good idea to talk to me, or even come close to me, don’t.” And with that, the ginger swung his fist in the general direction of Leiken’s face.

"I never claimed to know much about you." He stated plainly. "Though I am rarely wrong about my impressions." he cooed toward the other male in a somewhat mocking fashion. His tongue flicked lightly against the roof of his mouth, giving a small click of a noise as he looked the other male over, giving smirking faintly as he did.

Leiken took the man's silence as a minor fraction of a victory. The fact that he had not responded to Leiken's taunting of his appearance made Leiken feel as though the other man believed him to be right.

"I am sure you will learn soon enough what i am talking about." he stated toward the other male. "When you're lying cold upon the floor. " he stated looking to him with a gaze that leiken had not passed upon any in a long time. His face was placid, but his eyes held a stare that would have killed a nation if looks alone could kill that is.

"It is a needed sacrifice for it's purpose, cupcake." he stated casually. Though he would not admit he knew that the other man was right on that matter. "Oh, but I do know. However, teaching you would be impossible as you lack the qualities..." he paused looking lower upon the other male's body "...In all aspects." He gave a small laugh.

Leiken knew nothing of the other male's time abilities nor that he had stopped time at all. His assumption, of course, would be that the man merely moved faster than his eyes could read the visage. However, that was not what would be on his mind. Beside the awkward taste in his mouth, which he swallowed feeling that it merely a result of kissing the other male, it was that fist impacting his face that would be the highlight of his mind.

It was surprising, to have been caught off guard like that, he didn't quite grasp how it had happened--though it had. Leiken's head jolted to the impact, his movements to leave halted by the shift in force, he took a step back to prevent himself from hitting the floor. Blood seeped from his lip and from his nose and his skin began to bruise unusually quick. His heart felt as though it had stopped.

The blood smeared upon his skin and the one drops that had fallen toward the floor began to feel the effect of his abilities surfacing. His heart started to race with the anger that fired within him like the flames of hell upon the flesh of a sinner. He had not yet reacted, but the blood upon his skin and those drops nearing the floor seemed to stop in their movements as his hand rose to touch upon his face. He looked to the blood that would smear upon his fingers and to the blood that seemed to find it's way from falling to the surface of his hand. Then he looked to Odion with the sort of gaze that seemed detatched completely from moral. As if he'd snapped completely and lost his mind.

It was then he lashed out at the other male, more or less launching his hand toward the other male's chest, aiming to impact his fist upon the male's sternum. The blood upon his skin would slide upon his flesh unnaturally as if it were having trouble determining which way to go as he thrust himself at the other man. Whether or not the man avoided it would be determined. However, the air in the room had grown more tense as his abilities pulled at the blood of anything living near him trying to force it out of the containers it was housed within.

Leiken's eyes held that empty look, though his features displayed a sense of anger, that he otherwise never would have shown. Had he lost himself in his abilities again? What would become of this? Would he snap out of it to find the blood of another man upon his hands? History was starting to repeat itself and it would be a thing that would come to set Leiken back further into his steps toward not being a monster.

Odion was unperturbed by Leiken’s stare. He had one quite similar which he was wearing now. “I’m fairly certain there are preventative measures in place to keep those who can’t control themselves at bay.” Death threats already? My my my, this was getting interesting.

“I assure you, you are insane,” Odi replied, just as casual. Odion laughed as well, because the way Leiken was rubbing up against him, he would think he would be able to feel Odi’s structure beneath him. Apparently what was beneath though, was Leiken himself. And Leiken wanted to teach him? Whatever that was, Odion didn’t want it.

Odion bore a smug smile on his face, taking a few steps back to observe and retaliate if necessary. Odion frowned deeply, the blood had stopped moving, and the dripping seemed to return to its source. Leiken’s fist upon him, Odion felt like his heart was going to tear itself out of his chest, his face contorted in pain and wrath.

Odion rest assured that he could make anyone, even the likes of Leiken, angry.

With what little energy he could feel inside him as his entire body seemed to inwardly gravitate towards Leiken, Odion stopped time. The sudden normalcy of being within his own time frame caused Odion to inhale deeply, and he glanced down at his arms, which were unusually red, as though his whole body had turned into one large bruise. He took a couple steps back and lost time as it resumed back to normal without his consent.

He laughed slightly, despite the intense pain he felt. “And you think I have a short fuse.” Odion continued to retreat, having sensed defeat when it was perhaps too late. “You attack me for not being able to block? You’re pathetic.”

"Tch. Such an excuse." He stated to the other male. Giving that grin to the other male, "We will see my pet. We will see."He cooed to the other male in his movements to leave. Though the events that would follow would not have ever been dreamed up even by Leiken. He never could have imagined getting that angry again, however, with the emotional strain he had already been experiencing that day his own resolve had snapped.

Black outs were something he was used to. Coming to not knowing what had happened, but being left with regret for the events that had seemingly occurred within his mind's absence. He was angry, yes, beyond it in fact. There were few people who had ever raised a hand against Leiken, though many who verbally did so, and these results were part of the reason why. And the man reason why he believed himself to be a monster.

"I'll carve those words upon your headstone." his emotionless and absent minded voice echoed past those lips as the other male managed a few steps away from him through some method he was unsure of. The man was far to quick, he thought, for him to chase after and capture. however, the sight of the other male's skin gave satisfaction to that dark part of Leiken. The part that wanted to steal the life's blood from that man.

His words were few and far between--unlike him. As he moved after the other male again, his abilities were out of control, if someone didn't stop him or the other male did not flee who knows what would happen. Leiken charged Odion, murderous intent within his eyes, dried blood and bruising upon his features. He intended to knock the other male back to the floor.

Vincent had finally managed to wind his way through the throngs of people in the halls enjoying lunch, ending up in the relatively quiet solitude of the library. There were always few people in here, though with there being midterms and class finals approaching he'd expected more. The expansive room was practically empty, and the trainer made his way towards the back of the room where the work tables were, manila files under one arm as he walked through the stacks.


As he approached the research tables, however, sounds of angry conversation and a scuffle reached his ears. The soldier looked around but did not see Eli anywhere - the librarian was likely also on his lunch break. Curious and concerned, he rounded the corner of a bookshelf to find two students standing before each other at a table by the window. One of them the trainer did not know immediately, though the other he was certain to recognize; Leiken. From the stances the two had and the way they watched each other, it appeared that they were having some sort of conflict. He was too far away to see the blood on Lei's face, but something told him that things were about to get very dangerous very quickly.


Dropping his folders on the nearest table, the stack of papers landed with a sharp crack, reverberating throughout the mostly silent room. He scowled at the two though their attention was diverted, and he remained where he was, not drawing closer but the command in his stance and presence implicit: If you want to fight, take it outside.

“I doubt you’ll be invited to my funeral,” Odion stated simply, again, buying time. His entire body ached and he knew he needed to get out of here, and fast. The redhead felt himself colliding with the floor once more, and he knew he didn’t have a lot of fight left within him. Why didn’t he just run in the first place? Something had indeed changed within him, and he wasn’t just brave anymore, he was stupid. Some battles weren’t worth his life and he had yet to realize that.

Odion pushed himself from the ground, reversing their positions on the floor. If Leiken wanted to play, he was in for one hell of a game. Odi made sure to pin the other boy’s wrists to the ground, not wanting to get touched by the other boy again. Maybe now Leiken would feel just how strong Odion truly was. “Maybe you’re the one who should give up.”

The sound from the peanut gallery wasn’t heard – so much for staying in the shadows.

Leiken did not hear anything outside of the pulse of Odion's blood through his veins. The very blood his abilities were trying to grab at. Though he was not touching the other man to focus that ability it was not something that needed that touch entirely. Touching the other male just made it easier. His subconscious new this, but Leiken had yet to figure this out.

His head ached and the dizziness was set in, but in the state that he was in he could not realize either. He was taken by surprise when their positions reversed, giving an aggrivated sound as he tried to free himself from that pinned position beneath the other male, but leiken was actually quite weak physically. He couldn't even exercise very much without putting his body into a state of overload.

"When there are no words left for you to speak, " that darker tone exhaled toward the other man. He pulled at his arms, trying to free them from that grasp, leaning himself up as much as he could to try to break free. Though his abilities seemed to have a hard-on for the contact. It was as if his own vessels were reaching out to Odion's hands. Welcoming his blood into his own being, though such was not truly happening, it merely felt that way to him.

The moment that the physical aspect of the altercation became visible in front of Vincent, he moved. The other boy had pinned Lei to the floor, and as the trainer approached he quickly noticed the same bruising patterns on Odion's arms that had appeared on him after a wild manifestation of the Asian boy's powers. If they didn't stop this quickly, someone was going to get hurt badly.


He strode up to the tussling boys with all due speed, latching onto the back of Odion's shirt with one hand to pry him off. Pushing his other hand against Lei's chest, the appendage almost immediately began to ache; spontaneous power usage once again. "Enough!" he stated firmly, trying to force the two apart physically. "Stop this at once!"


The former soldier was strong, but these two were latched on tight. He almost wondered if the seams on Odion's shirt would give way before he could finish forcing them apart.

Odion stood up and shook the teacher off of him. He gave the other guy a death glare, and turned on the spot, only too eager to leave. “He’s all yours,” Odion spat, making his way to exit the library. Leiken’s cards were going to be emptied, and his ID’s replicated. He was about to get into a lot more trouble than he actually caused, and that was saying a lot.

Leiken's abilities had stolen his own mind. He felt like ripping the man's entire web of blood vessel's from his body and leave them a mess upon the floor. His anger had gotten the better of him, in all of the worst ways, and Leiken would likely remember very little about it all.

Leiken frantically tried to grasp hold of the other student as he was pulled apart. The trainer was stronger than he was however, he could get close enough agian to grasp hold of Odion bnefore the other student would escape. "You can run, but I will find you! You cannot hide forever!" he shouted after the other student. His despite that detached look his eyes held within.

Leiken turned his attention to the one that was holding him away from the other student. He tried to grasping at his shoulders in attempts to push him away so that he could go after the other student. "and who the hell are you?" he spat at the man. "Let me go he needs to meet the maker!" he declared. His the sound of the other man's pulse rang in his ears and his mind latched upon it.

Leiken had snapped because of that other male. It was clear upon his features, within his eyes, to those who knew him well enough he would seem an empty shell. One filled with hate and rage that drove it's being. His mind had been consumed by the anger and he'd snapped as many times before in the past.

The trainer would have none of this. Pushing Lei hard enough into the floor to force the air from his lungs, he released the other boy and glowered at him as he stormed away. This was one of those things Dr. Neville had to hear about, certainly.


More pressingly, however...


Vincent's palm ached fiercely as Lei struggled, and he could feel heat rising to his skin wherever the teenager touched him in his effort to rise. Once again, he pushed the boy against the floor, squeezing the oxygen from his lungs by simple hand placement. A push to the solar plexus could do a lot of damage. It was mildly startling that the boy didn't even seem to recognize his trainer, but it was of little concern; the kid was out for blood.


"Leiken Do Chu," he stated, grabbing one of the boy's hands and squeezing it tightly to keep it from hitting him in the face. "You will stop this at once or I will make you stop. The fight is over."

Lei's breath was knocked from him as he hit the floor due to the trainer's force. The weight pushing down on him made it hard to resist the force in itself. he hit the ground hard. His lips parted as he gasped slightly. The pressure keeping him from getting that oxygen as the trainer pressed that hand upon him.

Leiken's lips quivered as that very ability that plagued him tried to fight defensively against the man who posed threat to his life by natural instinct. It pleaded with the blood between them force outward their bodies. Leiken's face expressed a deep pain as his own ability was forcing blood from his own body.

It trickled from the edges of his lips. Though the hard squeeze upon his hands seemed to distract him from the pain. The sound of his name passing the other man's lips struck within him, drawing life back to those empty eyes, and a look of agony and confusion upon his features.

The tension his ability caused would lighten, not vanish completely, but it would lessen to the point that it's hold upon the people around him would cease. His chest ached, his arms, his bruised face. Though leiken stared up at the man above him with a look of distress, fear, and regret.

His lips parted and he choked out a soft pained sound. "Why ... " he didn't understand why the other man was ontop of him. Why his body ached. Where had the kid taht hit him gone? When had vincent even got there? "wh..hat happened? Why .. are you here? Why are you ... " he looked to his arms where they were held by vincent's hands. his expression immediately drew such a fearful state. "not again. " he choked out in a strained voice.
