Set after break
New York had turned out better than expected, and yet, she was happy to be back at Hammel. Elisia had been lucky enough to not have to deal a whole lot with her mother which was always a plus for both of them, so overall her break had been great. Now that she was back she had to focus on school and do as Robbie had suggested and join in some clubs. She wasn't sure which clubs to join because all of them were a little intimidating, but she had promised her brother and therefore she knew she had to do it. Otherwise they'd end up doing something crazy in the park and Ellie was a little worried about what that would be.
On top of that, Ellie had something else to worry about, though it wasn't really worry worthy. Ever since her birthday and the whole kiss thing that had happened, Elisia hadn't been able to think of anything else. Her party had been...interesting and the majority of her friends had been there to see Chris show up drunk and kiss her then Robbie getting after Chris and all of them finding out about her and Jack. It was a mess, and though most of her friends had been there, one of them had missed it and now Ellie simply had to tell him because he was another one of the few friends she had that she was comfortable talking to.
Shortly after returning from New York, Ellie had asked Carter if he'd be interested in hanging out, enjoying the snow and gossiping like old women. Luckily he had agreed and she was thrilled to see him again. The first time they'd really met had been similar to her meeting with Chris, though she hadn't hustled Cart, but he had definitely flirted with her. Once she turned him down however, they became fast friends and they were there for each other.
Ellie hadn't heard about his most recent problem, but that was what this whole thing was for. They both needed a serious catch up. Walking with him out to the pond where Elisia enjoyed spending a lot of her time, she kept her hands in her coat and waited until they were at her usual spot before she decided to talk, "How were your holidays?" Simple enough to start off with.
