”Not interested.” Was it really that wrong to want this to be a slow evening? To be able to pick out a guy herself without being approached? Perhaps it was because Elina was seated at the bar where most guys ended up at once to get drinks during that night. Not that she blamed them for trying though. She could tell that they grew cockier. With some already pointed down, others probably thought they were a way better catch and behaved according to that assumption as well.
Nevertheless, Ellie did feel bad for the last guy, if only because he had lost the bet with his friends now and would have to buy all of them a drink. She had managed to eavesdrop on that part of the conversation despite the loud noise in the club. It wasn’t the most comfortable setting though. Elina did struggle with her vision and hearing while inside, but it didn’t bother her enough to end up being someone who never went out. Besides, normally she would be dancing like nothing could harm her and to live during that moment without caring about anything else. She would quite probably end up doing that soon enough, as soon as she judged someone worth her time.
And that’s when a familiar voice caught her ears. Somewhere on the dance floor. Quickly downing the rest of her drink, the brunette slipped off the stool and began to squeeze her way through the crowd. She didn’t move fast though, seeing the person didn’t speak constantly, but eventually she could tell she was practically standing behind him and whatever girl was trying to keep him interested. Elina didn’t care that someone got to the boy first; she would entertain him now.
”I knew I recognized those sexy moves.” Ellie slightly leaned in, trying to whisper, yet speak loud enough for Cameron to hear over the music. She could pretty much feel the glare from the other girl, but eh… It was so easy to ignore when you couldn’t see.
