Jay Downs made his way down to the training rooms without any real idea of what he was going to do once he had gotten there. He was still relatively new after all and thought of his meta human ability as a more counter-offensive one at best. As far as he knew his ability worked mainly on a subconscious level, at least that was how it had worked out on the football field out at his old school.
The Kinetic energy of another was absorbed by him and then released through his own kinetic exertions, be it a short but extreme burst of strength and speed or a complete reversal of the items or persons trajectory. Their were times of course that he had tried to hold in the extra energy as it fed into him, like during a shower with the water beating down upon him. He hated taking them now for no matter how hot he turned up the heat the water always felt cold as ice against his skin and if he stayed in long trying to clean his body would start to convulse involuntary starting with his hands like an extreme caffeine high.
He had learned quick to try and hide those by focusing at least one hand on revolving a pencil or pen with his fingers. Still when it was to bad his head would twitch every so often. That's when he new he had to release his pent up energy. It is what made him look forward to his more physical classes and activities in gym, in sports, or a hidden personal favorite in a fight though those were rare and far between.
Jay was clad in his typical style of his clothing choice that started off with a V-necked retro mighty ducks jersey, a pair of jeans, and some tennis shoes. Of course he had his black backpack slung over his left shoulder and a pencil that he fidgeted with in his right hand. The fifteen year old lad's blue eyes scanning the hallway and checking the rooms to see if one was occupied. He really hoped so after all without guidance he really did not know what he into.
