The goal of this RP is to get back to our roots, the reason we all started RPing in the first place... a love of writing. In this environment virtually any character can be created. There is no hugely intense plot, rather there is an intent for players to make their own stories by interacting with other members. RPing is largely considered a hobby, something we do for fun to stretch our creative muscles. But RPing is also something a group sport. Each member is a part of a team, and agreeing to be a part of the team is equivalent to a certain amount of dedication. Dedication to character, to story, and (most importantly) to your other teammates. The intent of Nothing But A Memory is for the board to be a haven for characters to (pardon the pun) live long and prosper, as well as a haven for writers. Writers can join with the comfort of knowing that the other members of the site share similar ideals and will not be dropping off the face of the internet to leave you in a lurch - at least, not without fair warning. So if this kind of environment sounds like the place for you - get while the gettings good and become apart of an old school writing phenomenon.
