Studying is harder when your pen breaks and ink gets all over your library books.

Page wanted, no needed to know more about what was happening to her, this power - ability or whatever they call it, sure it was a neat thing to have but it left more questions inside Page's head. One of the questions was why she would get this kind of ability? why now? How does it work? how could she control this? it was overwhelming to say the least. So Page being the little detective she was started to research about these abilities and the best place to start would be of course the library.

So she went to the campus library and pulled some books on genetics and psychic abilities as well as dreams. Armed with a load of books she went to an empty table in the corner where she starts to put the books in order and setting up her notebooks, with a sigh she opens one of the books and starts to read through it. Page is writing down important notes and cross referencing in the other books.

Three hours later it looks like a bomb went off around her, books, paper and other notes are scattered about around her. She was writing in one of the notebooks when her pen won’t write anymore. She shakes the pen with no luck, she sucks on it to no avail, so now she tries to take the tip off and that’s when it happens, the tip fly’s off and sends ink all over the place, the tip hitting another student as they walk by.

Page stands horrified “OH MY!!!!” she goes up to the other student “I’m soo sorry!!!” she says as she tries to wipe the ink off the shirt of the student but only making it worse.

Bryan was bored out of his mind and looking for something to do. He had no intention of going to the library but passed by it and gave a look inside. He found a girl inside that seemed to be extremely focused on something. Bryan instantly had an idea and slowly started to walk forward intending to scare her.

Suddenly Bryan got hit with the tip of a pen and some ink. The tip hit his upper arm and changed it into the plastic that pens are usually made out of. It felt like someone had pinched him but Bryan knew what happened. The ink had just been a few drops on the front of his shirt but the girl had run up and tried to clean it. She only managed to spread it out and now was a big mess.

Bryan gently pushed her hands out of the way to try and stop her from making it worse. He started cracking up and totally couldn't stop laughing. His plan had been ruined and instead had been attacked by a pen. " It's okay. Don't worry about it. I can replace the shirt." Bryan choked out between laughs.

The boy took her hands and started to laugh at her! Page quickly pulled her hands out of his “This isn’t funny!” Page stomped her foot “Stop laughing! This isn’t funny, look at this mess!” She said with a concerned tone to her voice as she turned picking up the broken pen and looking around for a trash can. She went over to the trash can and deposited the messy pen, then turned back to her books and the boy.

“Your just going to stand there and laugh aren’t you? Why not be a kind man and help me clean this mess up.” There was a slight pleading tone to her voice as she took some tissue from her backpack and started to clean the books and her papers, carefully blotting them so not to make the mess flipping her hair out of her way only to curse herself because she got ink in her hair now. Page wanted to scream but held her tongue.

In her mind she was adding up how much all this was going to cost her parents between the books, the rug and the laughing boys shirt. Turning her head to the boy “Some help you are!” the more page tried to clean up the mess the more the ink spread, it was all over her in her hair, on her face all over her hands and arms and she had a boy standing over her laughing. Just a great way to start at a new school. NOT!

Bryan stopped laughing but couldn't help but smile." Stop worrying. I have ruined plenty of my shirts on my own. Besides you ruined more of your stuff than mine. " Bryan went over to help but there wasn't much he could do. The ink had gone everywhere and had made a mess of things.

" Oh I'm sorry, I'm Bryan." Bryan would have put his hand out but he didn't want his gloves covered in ink. He had them on all of the time so if they did get ink on them it would stay on there for a while. " What were you doing before the pen broke?"
