An Indoor Storm (Open)

"It's... It's complicated. Sorry." Uriah finally had his head on his shoulders again, and really needed to make sure it stayed there. He had a target and was going to keep on it. "Well, then I guess we'll have to figure out a good time to schedule it and decide what the plan will be."

"But don't sell yourself short kiddo. Sonic Manip..." He used the slang for the second word. "That's a pretty incredible power. Look what you did to that poor desk there. You just have to be careful. Umm..." He had a question that came to mind but for a moment he was embarrassed to ask it. It sounded a tad inappropriate, but he forced himself to go on.

"Where do you live? The dorms here or off campus?" He wanted to know where the best place to meet was, but he realized that the question seemed a tad odd. She was what? Half his age. He could just hear what Xander would say if he was there. But Uriah shrugged it off. "Where would be easiest for you to get to so you can practice?"

Ren gave him a reassuring smile, "It's alright." she said softly. It was all she could think of to say. He had changed the subject once more and once again, sice she was the very curious type, Ren was relieved. She beamed and nodded her head, "Course! Sounds good."

She felt her cheeks go a little pink, either from pride or from the apparently new nick name "Kiddo." She pursed her lips and gave in a little giggle at the word "Manip."
"I like that! I could start using it. Sonic Manip..." she mused aloud, popping the p and then she laughed, "Yeah, that's my new word alright!"
She then gave a little shrug and cocked her head over to look at the desk, lying on its side, "Hmm, I guess." she waved her hand dismissively with a very small smile. She didn't remember getting this much praise for her power before. I guess she had to give Sonic Manip a bit more credit.

She didn't know if she had just gotten used to this situation in a sense, but this question didn't make her feel uncomfortable in anyway, "The dorms here. Room 202." She was pretty sure it was 202... How could she be drawing a blank on this? This was where she slept, ate, studied, read... 202... 202... Yeah. The more she said it, the more it sounded right.

Ren bit her lip and rolled her eyes up as she thought. Well, where wasn't it easier for her to go? She could get anywhere really, "Anywhere I suppose. How about you? And when would it be a good time? I wouldn't want to drag you away from anything."
