Evy allowed a sniffled laugh to creep out of her lips, one which was quickly followed with a sneer. "Oh don't even get me started on life as a fourteen year old", the acrobat shuddered, remembering those first years as a teenager and all the interesting situations she rolled into. Lucy's arrival brought a slew of conflicting thoughts to cross Evy's mind, what now? Play the random friend popping over for a visit? There was no way in hell that the brown eyes beauty would agree to their usual cuteness and even then it was almost always Evy playing that part as well, so what could she do? Lucy wanted her to be her, but the blue haired acrobat knew full well that whatever it was that they shard had to remain a secret. An unfortunate truth that had to be abided by.
"Urgh...okay, date was a bit of a stretch. But still!", Evy sighed, exasperated with trying to explain herself in front of Lucy and the twelve year old. Of course the word freaked out Lucy, was there any surprise to that? No, of course not. But Evy was still kicking herself for blurting that out.
Flicking her gaze over towards the younger girl and what was in the bag Evy felt herself go a bit pale. Horror films? Urgh just when it couldn't get any fucking worse, the little one brought out those things. Horror films meant squealing turning to cuddling and then onto hardcore making out! Okay, maybe not the last part but Evy instinctively flinched from the thought, even if there was no way Lucy and the sass machine were a thing. Scrunching her nose at the selected films Evy cuddled her bag, not bothering to waste any more jelly beans.
"You know, I literally stopped listening after you said 'exploit'", Evy stated with a flat voice and a blank stare, blinking at the younger girl whilst discovering more figments of her little sister in the girl. It was fucking ridiculous actually, she wanted to gag the girl as much as she wanted to cuddle her but still, being a stubborn bitch required she be ruthless.
But then Lucy broke the tension and made up her mind. One which actually brought a pang of jealousy to hit Evy's thumping heart. It really shouldn't of surprised her, Lucy wasn't one to sugarcoat words.
"Damn, ruthless", Evy uttered, feigning heartbreak with a hand over her chest and severely realistic expression of pain on her porcelain visage. It did hurt a bit, although Lucy probably didn't care. Pursing her lips, the blue bird remained motionless for a moment, narrowing her gaze in the direction of the rookie before taking in a deep breath and once more glancing at the tattooed girl. "Ain't no bitch deserves no jellybeans!" Evy frowned, clutching her bag tightly as if it were her child. "Well...I'm just going to stay and chat with Inky! He deserves all this candy!", Evy huffed loudly, swivelling on her hips and facing the chubby bunny in the cage.
"It's okay sweetie, you're a good friend", Evy cooed, shooting a dirty gaze at Lucy before poking her tongue out and dropping one of the jelly beans (banana flavour because no one likes banana flavour) into the cage. "Aren't you just greatful that I go out of my way to steal from children and shower you with diabetes? Oh what's that? Thank you for the lollies? My pleasure Inky, any time", she said aloud to the rather confused rabbit, putting on a sickly sweet voice just to make sure Lucy was listening. Subtlety was of no use here, besides, the charade took an edge of the gnawing jealousy that threatened to turn her hair green.
