Mia nodded, but she felt the same as River. She was a people person, she had to be around other people, it was just how she was. “Yeah, I’m Irish on my Da’s side.” Her parents had met at Hammel, she though most people’s parents met that way… It was a bit strange, now that she thought more about it. “My parent’s were braggers about their ancestors, they told me everything.” She was careful to say ‘me’ instead of ‘us’, she didn’t want to get into talking about family… And her siblings. Mia smiled at River “I’m sure you would be a great teacher!” Mia was also a tutor, she figured she would be doing more tutoring in the new school year, since she had graduated this year.

Mia blushed a little, he admired her? It was for something so small as her eating habits, and as far as her diet had gone it didn’t seem very admiring for her to stop eating junk food just because some guy said she was fat (and the fact that she was literally able to stop him from doing anything by sitting on him..). “Really? That’s so cool. I always admired anyone who had even the slightest ability to cook.” Because she would give anything to be able to have a variety of food to eat at her fingers tips, if only she could cook. “You wouldn’t mind doing that?” Like with the pizza thing, she didn’t want the boy to go out of his way to do things because of her eating habits. Mia blushed and looked at the ground, she started to play with the grass out of embarrassment. “R-really?” Why the hell did she just stutter?


“Oh, well that’s okay!” Even though the song was about love, it was still kind of a negative song (not a breakup song though). It was okay for River to be oblivious, Mia wasn’t sure how she would react to him not being this way and seeing more to her comments. Once they were finished with the song, Mia looked around and blinked at all the wild life that came to listen. “Oh.. Woah..” It clicked that it was because of River’s power. Mia nodded in agreement with River “Yes, you played beautifully. I really liked us playing together.” She blushed at his complement, “Thank you.” She looked at her ipod, “Er… Is it okay if I sing a song?” She kind of wanted to sing ‘Falling for you by Colbie Caillat.

"Ahh, I see," River chuckled. "Sounds like a really interesting history!" He had never been all that interested in learning about the past - he always liked to look forward, because it seemed like all that people could remember from history was the bad stuff. War, disease, murder... Those were what made the record books, and he didn't like being reminded of how much bad stuff there was in the world. Still, personal histories were fascinating. "Ach, we'll see!" he grinned, rubbing the back of his head. Her confidence in him made him feel great, though, and he couldn't help but think it would be fun even if he wasn't that great.

River didn't realize one of Mia's main reasons for eating the way she did; if he had, he would have certainly told her that her appearance was no reason to go on a diet, because she was absolutely perfect the way she was. However, he didn't know, and so he just smiled brightly at her compliment. "It's fun; Rain's a better cook than I am, though," he admitted with a small laugh. "Of course not! I'd love to, it'd be something to do for fun, and we can develop great life skills along the way," he giggled. After all, they would have to live on their own eventually, and River didn't want to have to rely on pre-made meals when he was older. "Yeah, of course," he nodded affirmatively, also blushing at the ground. He was too preoccupied with his own feelings to even notice her stutter.

He let out a little embarrassed laugh as she noticed the wildlife around them; the animals were slowly going back to their regular business, leaving them alone once more. However, once they started playing again, River knew they would probably come back; he could have to try to concentrate more on not using his abilities. "Thank you," he murmured, dipping his head modestly. "I did too. We should do this more often." He looked up as she asked to play a song. "Yeah of course!" he nodded with a smile; he would love to hear her sing again, and not be distracted by his own playing.

Mia nodded, “Yes. I’ve visited Ireland once, It’s pretty amazing…” Her personal history had been a very happy one, she had the greatest family she could ever ask for. That was till two years ago, where her whole life just went to rock bottom instantly, and it stayed at rock bottom till she came to Hammel. She had slowly worked her way up, then things started to go downhill, and now, she was finding the strength to work her way back up again. You can say the last two years of her life were not happy…

It was only the non-junk food diet that was because she was fat, her being vegan had nothing to do with that. It was something she wanted to do, and felt proud to be a vegan. “Rain sounds like a really cool person.” River’s sister did really sound like a cool girl, someone Mia would love to meet one day. “Alright! It’s a plan. I actually have a vegan cookbook.. Just never been able to cook anything.. I have been able to make smoothies, they have came out pretty well.” Truthfully up in till now she had been kind of relying on marring someone that could cook… But the whole marriage thing was a bit iffy now.

Mia loved it actually, they were all so cute. She loved having this kind of audience. “We should! I would love to do this on a regular basis.” She nodded to him saying she could sing a song. She selected the song on her ipod and began to sing with the song. She was able to keep up with the singer, and kept in tune.
