You're So Flat... (Chester)

When Chester woke up the next morning, he was on his side in his bed under the covers with his boxers and nothing else on. He knew he didn't change himself so Alex had probably done the job. The usual smell of bacon and waffles wafted through his bedroom door and Chester turned to his bedside table to find two pills and a glass of water.

Moving slightly so he could reach for the painkillers, he dry swallowed them before taking a swig from the glass still in his lying position.

He took a beat before climbing out of bed to get to the source of the heavenly smell, passing a hallway mirror only to find a dark mark on his neck that wasn't painful when he touched it. The redhead frowned lightly before entering the kitchen to find someone else at the counter.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to bring strays home, Alex?" He teased his butler who just raised an eyebrow and continued scrambling eggs on a pan. "Asian even. Where will you draw the line, Alex?" Chester shook his head in amusement before grabbing the carton of orange juice and pouring himself a glass.

Turning to the vaguely familiar stranger, Chester sipped from his glass and raised it in the boy's direction. "Don't get too comfortable. The door's over there." He jerked his head to the direction of the entrance before concentrating on his drink.

Phen had had one of the best nights of sleep in ages, although he did miss the growing familiar warmth of Oriel wrapped around him. Still, the mattress underneath him was ridiculously comfortable, and as he woke up, he decided he needed to become rich. Yup.

It took him a while to muster up the energy to get out of bed, and as he sat up, he was hit with a wave of nausea and dizziness, and realized it had been hours since he had taken his last hit. He took a moment to create some dust and get it into his system before following an unfamiliar but delicious scent downstairs, wondering what to expect this morning.

"The fuck," he breathed, getting a better view of the kitchen now that was absolutely bursting with amazing aromas as the butler worked away. Without saying anything, he flopped himself down at the counter, ignoring the bright little bugs crawling around the table as he dug in, only giving the cook a glance of thanks as he worked on filling his empty stomach with some of the most delicious food he had ever tasted in his life.

He supposed he should thank the guy, but that really just wasn't in his nature.

Finally, the redhead himself appeared, and at the less-than-welcome greeting, Phen smirked and broke away from his gorging, pretending to put on a hurt expression as Chester sat down. "Oooh, you were so much politer last night," he hummed. "I thought you dug the Asians." He popped out his chest a bit, snickering; obviously, Chester didn't remember what had happened. "I'm still countin' on ya t' pay for these," he smirked, not caring if Chester didn't know what he was talking about. It was still hilarious!

He took a sip from his own glass, raising his eyebrows curiously. "What, just like that? C'mon, we didn't even get t' have our fun last night! Ya passed out on me before we could do anything more than a little kissin' on the ride home." He motioned to the obvious mark on Chester's neck, which was glowing a faint pink in Phen's vision. "Don't tell me ya don't remember that. Oh, I'm hurt."

Alex turned to see the newcomer walking in. His exclamation made Alex laugh quietly, having been subjected to that very wonder a few times before.

He plated the guest the full breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, smoked tomatoes, a piece of hash brown, a small waffle and a few strips of bacon. "You can make your own toast if you want. Chester doesn't usually eat toast. And the butter packs are just beside the fridge over there." Alex gestured to the small clear bowl full of butter packets.

When Chester appeared, Alex gave him his plate and started cleaning up. Making a face, Chester scooped some eggs into his mouth and wondered what the hell the other boy was talking about. The whole chest-popping made Chester scrunch up his nose. "The fuck?" He murmured as he chewed on his eggs.

"Dude we didn't even..." Chester started before the boy pointed to the mark on his neck. Yesterday came rushing back and he groaned. "Are you fucking with me?"

Phen usually ate very little, which was one of the reasons why he was so terribly thin (the other being a side effect from his dust that he either wasn't aware of or pretended to ignore), so though he begun eating eagerly, he only managed a couple bites of each thing before his stomach felt like it was telling him to stop, so he did, even though his mouth was still watering at the food. Too bad he couldn't take the rest for later...

He snickered at Chester's reply to his movements, pushing his plate to the side so he could rest his head on his hand as he watched the redhead eat. "You really don't remember," he sighed in fake sadness. "And I was so looking forward to those implants..."

As he seemed to suddenly change his mind, however, Phen grinned maliciously. "Remember now?" he snickered. He pursed his lips and pretended to pose, fluttering his lashes. "You told me I should be on the cover of magazines. You were quite the charmer, I just couldn't resist."

He was a bit too aware of the Asian looking at him but he let it slide. It wasn't the first time, to be sure. He was used to being stared at by girls and guys who knew his leanings. He wasn't afraid, nor was he under a delusion, that he was attractive to people to some extent.

"Augh all too well. Look, I got drunk. Things were said that I can never take back but let's not dwell." He tried to let the matter rest. "And I do believe the term is called beer goggles? Seeing things in a positive light for just one night? Yeah, that was all that was." Chester waved a dismissive hand, as though it could erase what happened last night.

It left a bitter aftertaste in his mouth.

"That only further proves the fact that I am in all actuality fucking charming. Period. You're welcome." He did an impromptu sweeping bow in his chair before looking at the unfinished plate.

"I cannot believe Alex is wasting my food on people who won't even finish it." The redhead shook his head and grabbed the other plate and started scarfing down the food like tomorrow won't come.

What's the point of being graceful in front of this one?

"Look...fine, I'll let Alex drive you home but seriously, just get over yourself alright? Yesterday would not have happened if I wasn't inebriated out of my mind."

Chester's words were not too kind, but Phoenix was still so amused by the entire thing that he did his best not to let them get to him. "Ahh, sure, that's all it was," he chuckled. Of course he knew how being drunk worked. Of course he knew this never would have happened had Chester been sober, or even just a little tipsy. It didn't make it any less hilarious in his eyes.

"Sooo charming," he snickered, running his fingers idly against the counter top. "You're just positively oozing with it." Phen rose a brow as Chester bowed, chuckling once more. Whatta guy.

He watched as the redhead grabbed his plate and started scarfing it down, glad someone, at least, wouldn't be letting that delicious food get thrown out. "Not my fault he made too much for this body t' handle," he replied, patting a hand against his slightly sunken-in stomach. More than once had Oriel brought up the subject of him being too thin, but Phoenix just didn't usually get much pleasure out of eating, and made him a bit sick if he ate too much.

"Keep telling yourself that," he winked, hiding his own insecurities and feelings of worthlessness that were not at all helped by Chester's words. "Alex, is it? I think I'm ready t' leave, Mr. Butler sir." He stood from the counter and stretched a bit. "Thanks for the fun time, Prince Charmin'. I'll see ya around." With a smirk and a salute, he headed towards the door.

Chester heard snippets of what the other boy was thinking but couldn't be bothered to be nice about it, letting the Asian wallow in whatever emotion he was feeling about himself. He wasn't going to sugarcoat whatever he said just because the other teenager had an affliction.

The redhead looked up from his food to Alex who had poked his head up from under the counter. "Give me five minutes to clean everything up and I'll be right with you." The older man nodded curtly before disappearing again.

"Highly doubt it." Chester mumbled through a mouthful of waffles before picking up his plate and walking off into the living room.

Alex appeared and opened the door for Phoenix. "Ignore him. He's pissy most of the time. But...he has his moments." Alex sighed with a small smile, directing the younger man to the silver Lexus. "To the school?" He asked.

It was a good thing Phoenix didn't know Chester was a telepath... Otherwise he would've shot out of there without waiting for a ride. He had a lot of things whirling around in his head that he didn't want anyone to know about, especially someone like the redhead.

He did, however, like his butler. He was nice, at least, and gave Phoenix a sort of politeness the Korean had never experienced before. Phen gave the guy a small two-fingered salute as he smirked and waited for them to go.

Chester left, which was a good riddance, Phoenix thought, now that he couldn't have fun messing with him anymore. As the butler came and opened the door, he let out a snort. "I'm sure he does," he replied with a touch of sarcasm, walking out the door. "Yup, let's get back to that hellhole." At least Oriel was there. And being able to see his lover was enough to bring an excited smirk to his lips.
