Locked in a Closet? This Isn't So Bad... (Kelly)

Sayuri wasn't currently enrolled in an art class, but she often found herself in the art closet anyway, attracted to the wide variety of colorful paints and pastels and charcoals and all sorts of other materials found within. Mr. Wentsworth never seemed to mind her using the stuff, so she gladly used her free period to sort through the various products, testing out paints for fun and getting some splattered on herself in the process. She didn't really mind - even if it stained, it only added brightness to her appearance, which was never a bad thing!

What she hadn't anticipated, however, was the door jam slipping and the door suddenly closing on her, leaving her in the somewhat dim, smallish room alone.

"Hmm..." She hopped over to the door and tried to tug it open, but found that it was locked! "What the... Who has doors lock from the inside?" she pouted. Someone must have done it on purpose. The hallway was always pretty empty too, so she wasn't sure if anyone would even hear her if she pounded on the door. Oh well, it was only a matter of time before someone found her, right? Shrugging, she went back to the piece of paper she was working on, continuing to smear bright colors over the white surface until someone opened the door.

The Japanese girl blinked up and smiled, but it quickly faltered once she realized the person (who she couldn't quite make out against the bright hallway lights outside) had come in and the door was shutting behind them!

"Don't let it-!" she stammered, but it was too late; the door shut with a dull thud. "- ... Close," she sighed, shaking her head.

Kelly was in need of a few art supplies. So he was off to raid the art room. The room was pretty much quiet, but it probably didn't help that he had headphones with the volume cranked up sitting around his neck. As far as he was aware there were no other students. All the same he went on with his business of grabbing what he needed before retreating back to his room.

He went to the closet and entered. He didn't realize that there was someone else until the door was closed and they were giving a sigh. He turned down his music. "Um... Sorry." The room was dim, but the voice from the other student was familiar. "Sayuri? What, I'm confused. Why shouldn't it close?" Kelly tried the handle, and found out. The door was jammed and they were stuck in there until someone came to get something.

"Mon dieu, this is perfect." He sighed. "So, how are you?" He turned to her trying to lighten the mood in the dim closet.

Wait... Sayuri recognized the person now! Her face brightened visibly once she heard Kelly's voice, and was about to answer his question before he found out for himself. "Yeah... It closed on me a little while ago, and I was waiting for someone to come and open it, but now..." she shrugged, far from unhappy at the person she happened to now be locked in a closet with. "We'll just have to wait again!" She gave him a wide grin.

She scooted to the side of the room to give Kelly a bit more space, since it wasn't really meant for two people to stay in for a long period of time. "I'm doing good! Better now that I have company, though," she added cheekily. "What about you?" She idly flicked the paintbrush in her hand, letting small specks of paint land on the paper in front of her and on her clothes. "Sorry that you're trapped in here, though," she added a bit belatedly. "I hope you weren't in the middle of anything..."

"Huh." Kelly shrugged at the predicament, "don't remember it being jammed like this last time I came down here." But then again, last time he was looking through the closet was a couple weeks ago. It was more than possible (obviously) that it jammed between then and now. He wasn't really going to complain though, especially about his company. Sayi was more than a friend after all.

"Guess so." He looked down at her with a smirk. "I'm alright. Nothing really worth complaining about." Well, except for the jammed door, but he could live with that for now. His eyes watched as paint speckled the paper randomly. He was always tempted to do something like that on a larger scale, and more like throwing paint.

Kelly looked back at her. "It's alright. There worse that could happen." He leaned carefully against the shelf, making sure not to drop things in the process. "The only thing I was in the middle of was raiding this place, so it's not like I had places to be." He gazed back down at the paper full of bright colors. "So, whatcha makin'?"

Sayuri nodded, rubbing the back of her head. "I don't know if it's someone's idea of a joke or what, but I couldn't get it to budge." But as he, she wasn't complaining anymore - trapped in a closet with a gorgeous boy? Like hell she would complain! She should thank whoever got them into this situation.

"That's good," she replied, dropping her neon-lined gaze from Kelly back down to her project. She suddenly felt a little nervous, self-conscious, even. Hopefully the dim light would hide any potential blush that might hit her cheeks.

Still, she gave another grin up at him. "Could have worse company, right?" she teased, trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah, I like to come in here and use the supplies even though I'm not actually in any art classes... But Mr. Wentsworth doesn't seem to mind." Sayi shrugged, then shifted over a bit more so Kelly could see her work better. "Just kinda playing around. Not really working on anything in particular; I tend to usually stick to faces when I'm being creative, so sometimes it's interesting to switch to more two-dimensional surfaces to work with." She laughed a little.

"Speaking of which, I'd love to work with your features sometime." She studied his face for a moment, taking in the pretty slanted eyes, smooth skin, and other lovely angles of his face. "If you don't mind getting... More close and personal." Yes, she was flirting heavily. But hey, it wasn't like he could escape right now anyway!

"Who knows." Kelly shook his head. Oh well, it could be worse. Did he just catch a glimpse of a little blush? It was hard to say in such little light, but Kelly couldn't help but grin. Sayuri had a cute face, he'd love to see get bashful if that was even something she did.

The Canadian chuckled. "That's true." His first thought was Lyra, she wasn't the worst company. She just thought outside of the box. Then it lingered to Carter. They way they flirted, and how he spoke so casually of sex, Kelly figured they'd probably be making out by now if they were stuck together. Still, he kept his attention on the girl in front of him.

"Cool. You must be a great cosmetologist by now." He could tell by the bright colors on her face. She really did have creative talent, and Kelly could respect her for that. And of course there's nothing wrong with just playing around with art. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a master piece one day?

Kelly could feel his face warm up a little again. Was he blushing? But he couldn't help it. A cute girl was offering to put make up on him and flirting at the same time. He sighed. "As long as I don't look like a barbie doll or clown afterwards, I don't see a problem with that." He was willing to trust her with this. She didn't really have a reason to make him look utterly ridiculous, right? "Get as close as you need." He offered with a grin.

Sayuri felt a little jolt of success as Kelly agreed he could have worse company, and it probably showed in the grin on her face. "Can't say I could think of a lot of people that would make better company locked in an art closet..." she hummed innocently, sending another splattering of paint across her paper. Ah, if she knew Kelly longer and felt more bold about their relationship, she would no doubt be easing closer to him, making it obvious that she would be happy to oblige in any kissing he might want to do~!

She laughed lightly. "I'd like to think so. I'm hoping I'll be able to go to a beauty college someday to study it." Sayuri paused, adding a little sheepishly,"I'd like to be a professional someday. Work with celebrities, or something." It was a dream of hers, along with creating an eco-friendly line of cosmetics for everyday people to use. Her passion for the environment was nearly as strong as her passion for make-up.

At his sigh and reply, she gave a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I'll only stick to neutrals and flattering shades for your skin tone," she told him, her mind already whirling with ideas of what she could do. Sayuri tapped her lip, studying him a moment longer before she settled in closer and reached out her right index finger towards his left eye. "Closer your eyes, please," she murmured; assuming he did so, she began to gently trace along the edge of his lid, keeping close to the lash line as she traced on a thin, inky kohl from his inner corner and out to a sort of cat-eye flair at the outer corners. She repeated it on the other side, working with quick and precise ease. As she worked, Sayi could help but glance down on occasion, noting the other curves of his face, especially the soft lines of his lips...

After working a bit longer on his eyes and a few touches to his other features, she dropped her hand. "I think that looks good," she declared quietly, making no move to back away from the close proximity of their faces. When Kelly opened his eyes, she smiled and glanced down once, a little shyly. "I wish I had a mirror so you could see it," she apologized, looking back up with a coy grin. "But I think it's hot."
