It's better than drinking alone (open)

Tonight was a good night. There was no doubt about that. Digby had had a great sales day earlier, he'd had some time to do a little experimentation with flavors and textures, and the weather was that perfect briskness that let him wear flannel. Ah, flannel. So now, about half an hour into his shift at the Churchkey, he was in a great mood, very attentive, and his tips had been reflecting that.

He tossed a shaker idly, glancing around to make sure all his customers were taken care of, verifying that all the waitresses had had their tables' orders filled already, and so on. But there wasn't anything to be done, really; he was in great shape. So, after another quick wipedown of the counter, and a check on clean glasses and fresh garnishes, his free time went toward special prep. He'd been working on a few signature cocktails to introduce to Cecil when he got a chance - a few things that were unique thanks to Eddie's special ability with fruit - so he began to jot a few of them down.

The day gave plenty of work for Robin at the Scarlet Wok. Customers kept her busy throughout lunch and the after noon. She made plenty of fortune cookies, just keeping up with the folks who wanted them. When the dinner crowd slowed, her parents offered to finish up around the shop until closing. Robin took the time to get out of the shop to get some fresh air. The frequent visions were making a migraine slowly creep up on her. By morning she would really be feeling it, Robin was sure of that.

The young woman wandered her way down to the Churchkey Bar. She wasn't really looking for food or a drink, but just a casual place to hang about. She made her way to the counter, and had to actually had to hop up a little to sit on a stool much to her embarrassment.

She looked up to the man the stood behind the counter. Her smile spread. "Hey Eddie, long time no see!"
