Trinkets for the Fiance - Open

Always a guest to a wedding, Riley found himself at the mall, trying to find a wedding gift. When he realised that it was his own wedding he was buying a gift for, the landscaper couldn't help but giggle to himself in the middle of the mall before deciding to buy the gift anyway.

He went to find an internet kiosk to go online to find what other people deemed an appropriate gift to give his amazing fiance.

Once he acquired the computer, Riley made a face at the screen, his lips doing some really weird things as he tried to remember what Ann had taught him about the computer. You should move the mouse. You should click on the left...wait, was it the left or the right side of the mouse. Wait, it was all smooth how is he supposed to know what part to press?

Looking around, he tried to find someone who didn't look like they had had twenty cups of coffee and looked slightly less deranged than half of the occupants in the kiosk for help.

"Um...excuse me...do you mind helping me with this? I'm trying to find ideas for gifts for my fiance. We're getting married in a few months time and I just thought I'd give him like...a gift basket of different things." He smiled a little shyly at the person.

Dawn sighed in annoyance as she looked at her book, her sister forced her to get it. It wasn't that she didn't like it, it was just that she wanted her to read it right away while Dawn is surrounded by food. This seemed like a punishment at first but Dawn understood what her sister was getting at. She needed to learn how to control herself from eating all the time, even if she was just 14. So here she was sitting while reading The Hunger Games...pretty sad.

She found herself laughing at some of it. Most of this stuff that happened in the book would not have happened if everyone just ignored everything and went on with their daily lives. So what if Dawn tended to not care about people who she first met, she still didn't get why this girl in the book was nervous of having to kill everyone. She did feel sorry for the part where the child died though. Dawn sighed and kept reading until she heard a voice beside her.

Why does everyone keep talkin' to me?  She sighed and looked at the guy as he talked to her. Dawn didn't care about weddings, she didn't care about helping people with their weddings either. Once she heard that he was gay though, she smiled. Wonderful! They really are making a difference. It wasn't that she didn't like straight people, she was half one anyway, it was just that she liked that gay people were allowed to get married now. "Sure..."

She was still very nonchalant so she didn't think she would be much help. She sat down with a plop beside the guy and sighed as she closed her book. "What does this guy like?"
