Temperance was laying sprawled out across the courtyard table, her arms held behind her head and her eyes focused on the white clouds passing by in the blue sky. She shifted anxiously, and crossed her foot over her knee. Still was uncomfortable. She put it down again.
"Having trouble?" Charity prodded her sister needlessly.
"Shut it," Temperance snapped back. It wasn't just the positioning that was getting on her nerves. She rolled onto her side and lazily looked over her sister's shoulder, who was sitting on the wooden bench of the table. She hid her mouth behind the flab of her forearm. "How long do you plan on playing that stupid game?" It wasn't so stupid, Temp liked it too, but idleness was aggravating.
"Until I catch a Shiny Ponyta," Charity said simply, not taking her eyes from the screen of her 3DS.
"You're never going to get one," Temp warned with a scoff."Besides, it's not like you can use them for tournaments."
"But I want one..."
Temp sighed. She wanted one too, so she didn't say anything more.
But she was still bored. Entertainment by proxy wasn't all that satisfying. She rolled over again while Charity continued grinding through the Pokemon game and rested her head on her arm. That's when her eye caught something interesting. Or rather, someone who had proved fun in the past. "Char, put that thing away, you can work on it later," she urged her sister. Charity did so without much resistance with a sly smile on her pink lips and turned with the same glint in her eyes. "Shall we?"
"We shall."
Both girls got up in unison and headed over to the short little boy they'd been having so much fun with lately.
