So....I'm back!
Want to play?
Dr. James Campbell
James--or Jamie, as his husband calls him--is the Head of Recruiting for Hammel. He manages the recruiters and goes on recruitment trips himself, as well as harasses his staff about inadequate paperwork. He's well-known among the staff and students for his anal-retentive behavior and collection of ugly ties.
James is married to Chase Campbell (Chase changed his last name from Kilbourne a few years ago) and has two children. Ginny, his daughter from his previous marriage, is an engineering student at University of Vermont. Nikolai, who James and Chase adopted after fostering him, is a student at Hammel.
As for the kind of plots available, James is at the school almost every day, so he would know a lot of people that way. He keeps track of the students he recruited (and others who come to him), and tends to treat them all like his own kids. Because he's married to one of the trainers, it is well-known in the school that he is gay, and he is always ready to give advice to LGBTQ+ students who come to him. I'd also be up for students blaming him for having to come to Hammel at all.
Lyn & Sansa Mendez
Lyn and Sansa are my new girls, the Gestalt Pair. They are sixteen years old and have been students at Hammel for a year now. They probably won't have many friends yet, but they'll know some people. Sansa is in mainstream classes, and Lyn is in a mix of special education and mainstream. Lyn has some learning disabilities and is on the Autism spectrum. She mostly comes across as very quiet and unsure, and Sansa will frequently speak for her. Sansa is pushy, but she's also protective, and is willing to go to bat for any of her friends.
Plots for them are pretty straightforward. They could make some friends with other students, as well as be targets for teasing. (Either because of Lyn's disability or because they are, in fact, named after characters from A Game Of Thrones, though they've never seen the show.) They could do with some training, or trading notes on synching with other Gestalt Pairs.
Eli Morrison
Eli is the librarian at Hammel, a job he is both under and overqualified to perform. His power is his enhanced brain, capable of learning all human knowledge and recalling it perfectly. He is, unfortunately, somewhat of a slacker though. He could be at a research institution, learning, studying, and earning degree after degree. Instead he is content to read extensively on his own, help students with their schoolwork, and hang out. He doesn't want the attention that would come with attending college, and he can't disguise his genius enough that he could slip by unnoticed.
His current relationships are not extensive. He has no family that he is in contact with, nor does he have many friends. However, he is very close with his best friend, Midori Hawkins, and her son Tory. He moved in with her when she was pregnant to help out, and he just never left. Also, he has a very old mutt who lives with them, named Zero. She used to sometimes come and hang out in his office at work, but now she can't make the walk. She sleeps in sunbeams and will never ever die.
As for plots, he has regular contact with staff and students at the school. Does anyone need to come ask him something? Get some kind of resource? That's what he's there for. Though people have previously assumed he was romantically involved with Mii, he is asexual and aromantic. He won't reciprocate a crush, but would be hilariously awkward if someone were to approach him romantically. Maybe someone on staff could recognize that if he is ever going to leave Hammel, he's going to need a push. He could do with some friends who don't enable him to spin his wheels forever.
So....plot away!
