A Little Bump and No Grind

Work, work, work. She had to focus on work. It wasn't a bad place to work at in order to focus though, the House was a very relaxed atmosphere that helped her get out of her own head. It kept her dancing and it kept her in shape. Unfortunately, she hadn't been all there in the past few months. After taking a break when her mother died, then being hospitalized a few times after that and the holidays overwhelming her, she was just glad that Cynthia had been so understanding with her situation. The situation that literally had her all screwed up with nowhere but up to go. This was a new kind of rock bottom that she'd hit, and she was suffering for it bad. Falling in love with someone that would never love her back, a new low. The worst part of it was that by saying she loved him the first time, she'd ended things faster than she thought was possible. And now, here she was back at it again, ready to be the reason their friendship failed once more.
Adrianna had pushed herself a lot after her birthday 'celebration' took an unexpected turn. She was avoiding Lani the way he seemed to be avoiding her. She hadn't talked to anyone outside of Elisia and over all, she was just a mess. In a little bit, she'd be back at school and have a better time suffocating herself with things to keep her busy. But for now, all she had was work and as long as she kept her schedule to herself, he wouldn't even be able to know where to look for her and when. No one would because she just needed the time to herself.
At work, she had just been sent up to the changing room for a fitting of the newest costumes for their number that would be performed in a few days. She was just about to walk down to the main floor when she felt someone bump into her. With all of the nonsense on her mind, she hadn't even noticed someone was walking up the same way she was walking down and when she finally decided to look up, she was met with the face of a bartender. She couldn't quite remember his name, but she knew he was one of the bartenders that worked during the same hours that she did. All she could remember was that his name started with a 'C' and that him and Kadence often talked. She figured that was due to working together, but then, she didn't know the tiny blonde, so she couldn't be sure.
"I-I'm really sorry. Are you okay? I didn't like, hurt you or anything did I?" She was rambling now and she pinched the bridge of her nose to shut herself up. "I'm just gonna stop now," She let out a short laugh and shook her head.
