((Set before Valentine's day))
That dreaded holiday was coming. Valentine's day. The Hallmark holiday that made people crazy and put relationships under strain. If you didn't do something nice for your significant other, there was hell to pay and no one wanted to deal with that. Honestly, Rowan had never done anything for such a holiday because every year leading up to it, there had been only one girl on his mind who he wanted to impress and usually he just hung out with her or they went out to do something fun like they would any other time. It wasn't as stressful trying to impress his best friend because they knew each other so well.
Unfortunately, it wasn't her that he had to worry about this time around. It was the guy that he kind of had a little itty bitty thing for. Okay, so it was a bit more than that because, well, this was the first guy that had caught him at the worst time possible. When he was vulnerable. A total rarity. That being said, he couldn't quite say it had been completely awful. Things had turned out nice that day, it was the aftermath of that day that Rowan was still trying to make up for.
So Valentine's day was coming up and he simply had to figure out a way to woo the younger brunette boy. Starting by texting Alex and telling him to be ready for a fantastic day leading up to Valentine's day because Valentine's day was...stressful and Rowan knew he wouldn't be able to be as fantastic the day of as he would be the day before. Movies and cuddling was about as cute as Rowan could get, so he figured setting up shop in Alex's room would be best, Lucy was off with someone...probably that someone that he wasn't so fond of.
"Alexxx, you in? I told you to be ready when I got here, c'monnn."
