Arcades, such a place to find geeky little nerds with no lives and too many hormones. On occasion though, there was one or two attractive guys that she could flirt around with just for S's and G's because boredom often struck the college girl with no friends and no family worth spending time with. Such was the life of girl with an attitude problem who never let anyone get close enough to hurt her. That was just the way things worked, even if she had failed once or twice along the way, that was what she was doing now and if someone didn't like it, tough shit.
Jacelynn had spent a while wandering stores in search of a hot pair of shoes because that simply made everything better. Unfortunately no good sales were up so she found shoes, just not the money to spend on them. Waitressing wasn't exactly a high-paying job, no matter how much she worked and how many guys tipped her extra for being a looker. It was all just very dumb, so instead she spent what little money she had on the dinky nerd games in the arcade because what else could she do?
Picking a Ms. Pacman game, she got her tokens and stationed herself, sticking out like a sore thumb as always. Jace could care less though, in a room full of fandoms and nonsense, she loved being that goth chic babe that was every boy's dark little fantasy. With the fire red hair to top it off, she figured she looked the part. Tight skirts in winter, yup, that was Jace for ya. She shifted her weight onto her left foot and rested her arm next to the controls. With a huff, she stared mindlessly at the game, working to beat her highscore that still rang out third on the charts.
