Calvin is married to his job, which is defending the law and protecting the fine people of Pilot Ridge. He knows that there are more meta-humans in the area, and that kind of keeps his job exciting between the accidents and the hate crimes from either side. He has never had the time to settle down and have a family, a regret that is slowly hitting him, but then again, he really never did know how to date, and he isn't the best at relating to people who are significantly younger than him.
Friends: Most of Cal's friends will probably be people closer to his age, but a younger friend might also be kind of fun to work in. He's not particularly prejudiced against anyone at all, not based on their power status, sexuality, monetary status, or even their interests. But it goes the other way, too. He's not too intrigued by most people either. He cares about them and wants to protect them, but friendship doesn't come naturally to him. He's a bit of a caffeine addict, so it wouldn't be out of the question at all for him to make a casual friend at the local coffee shops.
Lovers: Good luck! Calvin has been interested in a select few women before, and he's kind of hilarious when he is due to his lack of experience. Relationships have always just been on the back burner for him. He doesn't think about love and sex very often, and he never has. Maybe that makes him strange. I would think that people closer to his age on this one, too, but it might be fun to have the complications of him falling for someone younger and more free. I'm pretty open on this in general. Someone his age, someone younger, someone older, whatever.
Enemies: He's not likely to have all that many. At least, not on his part. There will be people that won't like his serious nature. Probably some folks are prejudiced against those without powers? And possibly people that he's arrested. I'm fine with there being a work rival, too, though again Calvin doesn't care too much for the politics of the job. He's just there to do what he has to.
Other: Cal's only surviving family is his mother. He had no siblings and he would not have had an accident. He's way too careful to have had one of those even when he did have one night stands. BUT I'm kind of interested in the idea of him eventually taking in one of the students as a foster kid. I don't know too much about the process honestly...
Saul spends a lot of time in the office, but he's sure to make time for other people in his life. His hobbies include going on walks and baking, and he's always trying to master some new skill. He's generally considerate and gentle with others, but hates when things get too out of his control, especially when it deals with his work or his family. First impression depends a little bit on the situation. With work, he can come off as a bit too serious since he really does take his job seriously, but if met on the outside of it, he'd be much more easy-going.
Friends: Saul needs some! He has only been in Vermont for two years, so I would hope that he would have at least made a few friendly acquaintances in that time. He could be the guy that people come to with problems, because he's the type that has trouble saying no. And if you have a character working within the law, he'll probably have met them or have the chance to. I'm not even going to say that there are specific limits to who Saul can be friends with. He could even be friends with students, as they would remind him of his nephew that he's moved away from.
Lovers: Saul is married to Simon Fournier, and they are looking to adopt a baby at some point soon. Saul has one known ex (Josh), but he isn't bound to have many others. He did go through a phase where he was more comfortable with one-night stands, but he wouldn't look back on that time of his life with much enthusiasm, so if you want to have someone have been a fling then don't expect him to be overly pleased with the reminder. He would have been living in New York during that time, so that probably limits things a bit.
Enemies: He doesn't like prejudiced people, and he doesn't like those who cause trouble for others. I think that it's obvious someone who has broken the law might not like him because he's one of those in the court room with a conscience.
Other: He came from a poor family, so I could imagine him getting involved in some kind of charity or youth program. I'm kind of drawing a blank here. Since he's new, there are a lot of possibilities, but at the same time that makes it harder for me to think about what specifically he could use. XD Consider it very open, though.
Any other plots not mentioned are totally okay with me most of the time! I just suck at coming up with ideas. Their profiles are linked to their names! GO CRAZY.
