Shit, did we learn about that!? How the hell am I supposed to remember those equations? Why is my memory so fucked up...?!
Phoenix's brow was beginning to bead with sweat as he stared at the test on the desk in front of him, feeling his anxiety turn to panic as he went through each problem, answering the few he knew how to answer but freaking out over the many others he couldn't seem to recall how to do. To make things worse, he'd decided to go to class with his wings out today, since his back was hurting enough already from a particularly heavy-lifting day the previous afternoon at work. With each beat of his panicked heart, he could feel the tension building in the base of his wings, a sure sign that he was going to release that pink dust in his test anxiety...
But the teacher had left the room for a moment, and Phoenix didn't know what to do.
It's okay, you're going to be fine, it's just a test, he tried to assure himself silently, scribbling nonsense symbols onto his paper. You can keep the dust in. Nothing to panic about, nothing to...
He flipped the page and was met with even more problems that just turned to fuzz in his hardly functioning brain. Phen's heart leaped, and with it came a sudden bout of pain in his shoulders that was met with a burst of pink hallucinogenic dust into the air, quickly filling the area around him. He was too horrified to even shout out a warning; it was too late anyway.
Phoenix buried his face in his arms and attempted to hold his breath, face burning with horror and shame. He had no idea how his classmates would react to the potent dust, but he knew it would be chaos no matter what. And he had no way of controlling that - he could hardly even control his own boyfriend the few times he'd gotten high on the stuff.
