Marley loathed the fact that she needed a tutor. She didn't want help from anybody. It was very frustrating for Marley when she couldn't figure things out on her own - whether it be her power, or the Algebra homework in front of her. She couldn't even think of a reasons to want to understand it, which made completing the assignment all that more difficult.
When she had failed the last test, her teacher had suggest a tutor, and re-taking the exam. While Marley was - dare she say it - thankful for the opportunity to raise her grade, she was less than enthused about the prospect of working with another student to get there. Her teacher set up a session, anyway, and told Marley the only way she could re-take the test was to show up.
So here Marley was, sitting in her black jeans and Red Hot Chili Pepper's tanktop, waiting for the mysterious tutor to show her face so she could get the whole ordeal over with. The longer she waited, the more elaborate swirls appeared in the margins of her notebook, and if she waited much longer, they were going to begin to consume the notes she had taken on factoring.
