Tempest sighed lightly as he woke up to the sound of his very loud alarm. He turned it off and groaned lightly, He so wasn’t ready to wake up. It was the weekend and he’d already allowed himself some sleeping in time but he didn’t have a good night’s rest. He turned over and for a while he dozed off again but soon was bothered by his snooze going off. He sat up and rubbed his face a little before turning off the alarm and getting up. He stretched and smiled as he felt the wonderful crack in his back and other joints. Taking his clothes for the day he dressed in a light white t-shirt with short sleeves and fashionable print, a nice pair of black skinny jeans with a pair of purple converse and a dark blue jacket in case it got cold. And then he was off to get a bit of fruit as breakfast and explore the grounds a little. He’d been around the place many times, but today he wanted to people watch. It was fun trying to guess what people were saying or to study the way they walked and acted. It was sort of like a nature show only about humans.
The brunette male went and sat on one of the drier benches light dew from the rain of the night before had settled on many but not all the benches since the sun have been out a while and was drying them and other places feeding the plants as well as giving light to the place so they might see. He loved the sun, but didn’t like when it was too hot, he already got overheated already and sometimes fainted in the summer. He had an elevated body temperature already and often wore t-shirts until the middle of winter because of it. He was already getting a little hot, Why did he put his jacket on already? He took his off and shook his head at his own question. He was probably still half asleep. He smiled a bit and then bit into the apple he’d brought from his dorm as he watched a pair off in the distance talking and walking together looking very chummy. He needed some more friends. He already had a few but they were growing apart from getting into different classes. He was upset with them too. He thought they would be forever friends but obviously he was wrong..
Temp didn’t understand how they could have been friends for near two years and then they could just drop him like he was nothing. He sighed and sniffled a little, he hadn’t been able to get them to reply to any of his messages online or on the phone and when he’d gone to their dorm they refused to see or let him in. He had went over everything and what they’d said was that he was boring that he never had his own opinion and that they hated that. So, in anger he’d told them just what he thought of them all and sadly had nothing good to say. He’d made a bad mistake there but when he was angry he couldn’t keep anything that he’d observed about others to himself. He kept their secrets but other than that everything else had just poured out like a fountain of stress. He ran his hand through his hair and took a deep breath and calmed himself, he shouldn’t be doing this. ‘Stop being so miserable.’ He tried to think to himself. With another bite into the apple he tried to further distract himself from his feelings of rejection just piled onto some more deeper unresolved family issues and watched as some girls went out looking fairly nice primped and primed for some occasion or other. Most likely a group date.
Dating, Huh... The Diamond boy hadn’t really been on a date before. Every crush he ever seemed to normally be unavailable or straight. Not that he would ever say anything. Being a homosexual to his old set of friends was a big deal. And they were a little homophobic. He hadn’t said anything about people but the others had just all backstabbing. He could probably fill a book with what they’d said about people in negativity and still have lot’s left for a sequel. He didn’t like that side of them and that’s when he was being ‘Boring’ because he never picked on people. Well, he didn’t care he wasn’t going to turn away possible friends for those kinds of people. Still, he never dated and he really wanted to know what loving someone felt like. All through high school he’d been hoping that someone would sweep him off his feet. He wanted to fall in love very badly but knew that it wasn’t all roses. These things took hard work and effort to maintain. But He wanted it. He got up from the bench and with another bite began walking around a bit, he wanted to get some water and it seemed there wasn’t much going on where the bench was. So over to the soda machine it was.
The apple the short male was eating was almost finished when he passed a bin so he stood there and took a couple more bites before placing the core inside and proceeded on with his journey to the drinks dispenser. When he got there he took his wallet out and counted out a dollar in coins but fumbling small objects with a sleepy brain and all he dropped them. So scrambling to pick them up he went after them. One rolled so far away and stopped at a shoe. He took the coin and looked up finding he was crouching right in front of a pretty bright pink haired girl. He smiled a little and then looked down before standing to full height and fiddled with his money a bit before glancing at her once again. “Hi.”
