Rory is new to Hammel, and she's nervous about it. She's used to being bullied by girls and high-fived by guys, and she's worried about making new friends. She grew up in Vermont and jokes that she embodies all the stereotypes, from her hippie moms and organic diet (minus the many sneaky snack food binges) to her love of Timberlands and mudding. She's a great tree climber, a pretty good shot with a BB-gun or throwing knives, and a determined competitor in most things, from basketball to Mario Kart. Her older sister Kayla graduated from Hammel a couple of years ago, and may possibly have earned a reputation for her love of the chronic. While Rory doesn't smoke, there is pot grown at the Hartt residence, and she may possibly have tried it once or twice. She's not good with feelings, and is more likely to punch a guy she likes than kiss him (playfully, of course).

Sera/Rory - Sera is Malachai's little sister. She is the classic spoiled rich girl, but also incredibly introverted which she expresses as being cutthroat mean to people she dislikes. Sera also pays/bribes her friends, but new friends she demands a friend tax from. I'm thinking either Sera actively bullies Rory, because of her farmlife background and lack of fashionable wardrobe. If you'd like, though. I'd never force a bully plot on someone if they weren't okay with it.


Marcus/Rory - Marcus is one of the guys, and also one of the girls, so might be able to relate (somewhat) to Rory and her tomboyishness. Maybe he could be one of her guy friends? He's pretty easygoing and cheerful and loves talking.
