ANDREAS IVARING
Thirteen | Gay (Closeted) | Mood Sensing (Aura) | Mean-Spirited 'Hipster'
I'm in the wrong place. I've yet to meet anyone that can adequately even hope to /stand up/ to me. Everyone's the definition of a modern teen. Faces either glued to their phones, or so swirled up in romance and sex that they become separated from reality.
Most people don't have a lot of good to say about Andreas. A lot of his time is spent in places like the student lounge. Either he's on his cheap laptop writing, listening to his various types of music, playing games or particular strategy, either physical or digital. And if he's not doing that, he's reading or studying. It sounds pretty normal.
Yet, at the same time, he's venomous. Most of the time, if your first impression isn't up to his standards, he'll talk down to you. It doesn't matter if you're a teacher, a townsperson, or another student. He doesn't discriminate. That said, he's mostly not one to play in to drama. He'll study the machinations of the school with interest. Who hates who, who likes who.
When he does meet someone who piques his interest, this usually meaning people he has things in common with, he'll generally first try to talk to them about esoteric or abstract things, to gauge their intelligence. Absolutely an elitist, Andreas has no interest in sports, popular music, or the latest goings-on in the celebrity world. A lot of his potential is in tacit, down-to-earth subjects rather than creative stimulants. His mind is wired more on the mathematical and mechanical side.
A weak point of his has always been talks of home, his family life, or indeed his father. Not because of some abusive past, but because that is truly a point of sorrow for him, and easily exploited. It's clear because of some event, he simply doesn't open up or talk about it. It takes a great deal of time to get him to trust you, but once he does, you may find yourself with a smart, if not very snarky friend, who treats loyalty with loyalty.

Currently, I'll take almost any RP plot with Andreas.
