Hammel Play OOC (involving most/all drama club members)

Okay! So this thread is mostly going to be me talking about how I would like this play to be rped out and how I would like it to work, I guess? And if people are interested in doing it this way, I guess, or well at all really... I have noticed that before a lot of the plays that were handled were planned a lot more OOC than IC, and I think that makes a lot less rping time if it is done this way. So I really want to do most of the plotting IC, with choices made by the characters themselves, and what they would want to do, and have their opinions be the deciding factor, and not really the players.
Like what play is to be done, that would be decided IC by the Drama club members. However, I am completely open for suggestions. This also means that (as I remember is being talked about before), that students can express wanting the lead rules to be the same gender (so homosexual romance in the play), which can be discussed more openly within the IC thread that takes place for this (not this one...). Again, any type of suggestion for the play OOC is welcome and greatly appreciated. Of course there are things that will be decided OOC that wasn't talked about, or had been forgotten IC... If that happens, and even if that does I will be talking to the players who own club members who are actively involved in this for their opinion (or well characters opinion..).
I am mostly making it this way, because well I think it would be a lot funnier, for everyone, and it makes it a lot more open for something to screw up. Also because Hay-lin is the type of person who would hear out the students opinions.
Also as a side note I am considering Hay-lin to let the students lead the play, and Hay-lin to over see things, and give them advice on what they should do, again this is something she would do because she wants them to see every aspect of theater, and I think for the players it would give them a more hands on approach, if that makes sense.
For auditions, to be in the play, anyone can audition, it will not be just the drama club members playing in this play, Hay-lin sees this as a way to get more club members of course. I am also thinking that the club members will also have to try out for the parts they want, because Hay-lin wouldn't like them calling dibs on certain parts... This can be discussed at a later time of course.
