What is your plotting philosophy?
I like to have a general idea of where a thread will start and where it will end before we start writing. I like organic reactions in role play, but I am not a big fan of rambling/aimless threads that seem to stretch on forever. I love to plot, and do not consider a plot discussion a commitment by any means, although I do think it's polite to let someone know if you end up doing something different than was previously discussed.
What types of plots are you interested in playing?
I like angst, fluff, hurt/comfort, and romance. Romances do not have to be written in stone; break-ups and short-term flings are totally okay.
What types of plots are you not interested in playing?
This is a difficult question to answer, because I am open to most things. In general, though, I prefer a plot where both characters receive an equal amount of development over the course of the plot (i.e. an arc might be dominated by a particular character's development, but their relationship as a whole is not).
How often can you reply to any given thread?
This varies greatly, because life has a habit of sneaking up on me. If I'm full of writing muse, I reply pretty quickly. Sometimes I'm too tired or unable to concentrate, and I might take a while. Generally, though, I'll try to let you know how long I'll be.
What is the longest you're willing to wait for a reply to a thread?
If I don't see a reply within a month and I haven't heard from you, I usually consider a thread dropped.
Are you open to RPing over instant messengers? If so, what's the best way to contact you and what times are you generally available?
I don't role play over IM, but I do chat-play and plot (in fact, I prefer to plot on Skype). You may reach me on Skype (PM for username).
Are you open to post volleying?
Yes, I love volleying. :3 If I'm on, just give me a poke.
Anything else?
I love you!
PLAYER LIMITS
What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
I don't mind small actions being assumed (basic acknowledgement, walking into a room, following your character to another place, etc). If it's a larger action like a punch or complex dialogue, I prefer to be asked (but generally don't mind, and if you can't reach me, you are free to take some liberty).
What are your limits in regards to romantic situations?
I like to pre-plot relationships in general, because I prefer to write with a goal in mind. However, I love the little details and surprises, and have no limits (triangles, rejection, and anything else that is true to character is fine by me).
What are your limits in regards to sex (within the TOS)?
I have no limits with regard to role playing sexual relationships. If you are interested, I am open to fading to black on-site and continuing the thread in GDocs for our reference.
What are your limits in regards to violent scenes (within the TOS)?
I am comfortable with violence. As previously stated, if a thread becomes too intense for the public board (and is relevant to character development), then I am open to continuing the scene in GDocs.
What are your limits in regards to abuse/rape in plots?
I am comfortable with such themes as long as they are considered in a realistic and delicate (respectful) manner. If it is treated frivolously, or if there appears to be a lack of research/insight, I will become uncomfortable.
Anything else?
Still love you! <3
