Meet Kataline, who always goes by Kate. She's a smart, bubbly girl who has spent her entire life trying to be something she's not: perfect. Coming from a wealthy, successful family, Kate has always had expectations she's felt that she has had to live up to. She has never felt good enough, especially toward her parents. She puts way too much effort into anything she does and sets her goals impossibly high. When it comes to friends, Kate makes them extremely easily. She is charming, genuine, and charismatic. She hardly ever meets anybody she doesn't like, and if she does she wouldn't tell them anyways. She goes out of her way to make sure that people like her. She will definitely have a lot of lighthearted friendships that aren't too close knit. She fears getting close to people. As far as enemies go, Kate will not have a lot of them. She avoids conflict and is probably the least confrontational person in the world. She'll have more one-sided conflicts, since she refuses to quit trying to please people. It would probably go down like this: "Kate, you're a two-faced bitch.", with her response being "Oh, well, I like your shoes." Pathetic, right? For those that do get close to her, they might see the the deeper part of her. The part that isn't busy trying to be perfect. This side is pushed so far away inside of her that nobody ever sees, not even her. For lovers, Kate has never had time for boyfriends. Her schedule has never permitted it. She has never had a real relationship and isn't daring enough to have a fling. However, as her rebellious side is growing and she's getting sick of herself, she's more susceptible to doing something stupid. An intimate relationship would definitely pose a challenge to her, since she really doesn't know what it means. Also, she is heterosexual, but as she struggles with finding out who she is, she might find herself trying new, unexpected things. Throw some ideas out there.

I only play one character: Doctor Sean Neville, the Hammel psychiatrist. He self-identifies as a hippie telepath, and he has worked at Hammel for 24 years. Given her background and her power, I think they have probably met before.

Hey Sean! I think she would have definitely come to him for help with her power and has probably met him through clubs that she has signed up for, such as the Student Activities Council. I can see him being the person she'd feel most comfortable with if she needed advice on how to deal with her parents.

As a fellow wealthy retrocog, I would think these two would have a lot in common and be good friends. Karalie does have some pretty strong religious beliefs, but if you can get over that, she's a sweet, loyal girl.

She's also a bit homophobic.

We could have them meet and see or maybe they've known each other a while? She's on track and student activity councel!

hey there! I've got some potential plots to throw your way.

Sydney/Kate - reading about Kate, Syd was the first character to come to mind. They have a lot in common since Sydney is very much the wealthy uptight perfectionist. Sydney is also on the track team and the Student Activities Council as well. Despite the age difference, they would both effectively be seniors so they would likely share some classes The main difference is that Syd struggles socially - she doesn't really get people, so she tries to study them like a school subject. Someone as naturally social as Kate yet as similar could prove to be an interesting friend for her.

Zo/Kate - Now, if you want to send Kate into a rebellious spin, Zo is your girl. She is closer in age to Kate and a bit of a troublemaker who would gladly corrupt a goody goody like Kate if she showed any interest. Otherwise, she might just give her a hard time.

On that topic, I'm doing sign ups for any members of that club who are interested in a group thread that involves the council and Sean getting trapped in an elevator. Would you be interested in that?

Karalie is cute. Kate wouldn't have a problem with her religious beliefs, but if there was ever a conflict about it around her she would be uncomfortable. Could be kinda funny. These two could definitely be good friends, especially since they have a lot in common, like you said. As for them already knowing each other or not, considering they have the same power, they probably would. Should thread.

I find the idea of these two hilarious, especially since they are so much alike. Kate would probably be the more outgoing of the two. They could get together and talk about how hard it is to be rich and perfect. xD Just kidding. Kind of. Since they're involved in the same things, I can see them already being acquaintances. Thread?

So I actually DO have plans for the downfall of "perfect Kate". If Zo would like to be a bad influence in her, I am all in.

Zo/Kate - mwahahaha >: D *cough* anywho. Yes, Zo would gladly be a bad influence. Corrupting someone like Kate would be a game for her, especially since she tries so hard to be little miss perfect. She's also bisexual so there is potential for a little crushing if Kate wants to get that experimental as well. Any thoughts on how to initiate this? I feel like these two move in very different circles so... Only thing that comes to mind is either a situation that forces them together or if it starts with Zo mocking her and somehow ends in Kate being a project. But any idea is welcome ^^

Lucy&Kate: The friend of my enemy doesn't have to be my enemy, too. Lucy has a penchant for crossing Karalie pretty much every time she sees her, but that doesn't mean she hates her friends. Your girl likes drawing, mine's an ink manipulator with a rocking set of tattoos. Art class? Art project? Anything art related?
