General Appearance: Sophia is rather short for her age and has a petite frame. She has pixie-like features with a small nose and baby blue eyes. Her blond hair is rather long reaching down to her back. She is considered to pretty average when it comes to looks. She isn't a supermodel but, she isn't hideous either.
Her clothing syle is kind of all over the place. Sometimes she's really girly but, sometimes she is more casual. She usually wears her hair down but will occasionally pull it up. She used to wear glasses but switched to contacts
Personality: Sophia is a bit of a nerd. She loves to read and watch movies especially fantasy and si-fi fiction. This made her really excited when her powers showed up because she really wanted to be like the caracters she loved so much. So, unlike some she is eager to learn about what she can do with her powers.
Sophia is outgoing and excitable. She loves to laugh and does so easily. She has a bit of a temper and has a tendancy to speak without thinking. She always tries to apologize when she hearts somebody's feelings but, sometimes when she is really steamed she just avoided that person until she calms down.
Sophia is also very studious. She works hard in school and is always eager to prove that she is just as smart as everyone else. Any Other Important People: not reallyHistorySophia grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. She was just your average student living her day to day life. She had a lot of friends most of which were really nothing like her. Sophia and her parents got along fine. They had the usual fights but, she was usually in their good books as long as she did well in school. Then, her father got a new job and they picked up and moved to New York City.
The process of becoming a U.S citizen was long and boring. Sophia couldn't wait to get it over with. New York City was fascinating. Back in Alberta there had been plenty of open space but, in New York everything was crowded together. Her favourite part was the Subway system throughout the city. Sophia was more reserved in New York City. The small group of friends she did make shared more of her intrests. She did well in school and stuck with the right crowd. Sophia always put pressure on herself to be the best which led to her stressing out a lot. That was really her only major problem.
She first noticed her powers when she got too close to her TV during a season finally and the whole thing just shorted out (she was pretty upset about missing the end). She was extremely excited when she discovered her powers. She couldn't wait to learn more about them and how to use them. It felt great to be something more than human. People from Hammel showed up at her door three days later. Her parents were shocked at first (she was the first meta-human they had ever had in the family) but, they accepted the fact that this was who their daughter was and that the Hammel Institute was the best place for her to be. She is now just starting out at Hammel. The side effect to her powers are she has a tendancy to shock people around her and overload electronic devices when her emotions get out of control.Roleplay ExampleSophia sat on the subway rubbing her hands over her arms. It wasn't that she didn't want to go. She was actually excited about it. She just didn't know how her parents would react. Her mother was very logical and if she didn't understand something then it might as well not exist. She was also worried about her friends. What would they think if she just disappeared? She couldn't just waltz on up to them and say "I'm leaving because I have superpowers!" She would sound positively insane.
