Zac could only stop and stare as he watched a number of (coordinated) accidents unfold in front of his very eyes. The carrot drop, the guy slip and the food splatter on Josef – priceless. If he wasn’t too concerned about Josef being upset with him (which he did not want, as he wishes to explore the kid’s background more) he would’ve laughed so hard right now. But he was ‘concerned’ about Josef so he tried to muffle his laugh, snorting unintentionally in the process. “Hey you! Why’d you do that to my friend over here?!” he managed to say in between laughs. Josef was with Zachary Drake LaRousse after all and all of Zachary LaRousse’s friends share the same respect through intimidation as him.
He tried to compose himself (he still couldn’t unsee look on Josef’s face as the food splattered on him) and shot a glare to the boy who had the tray (who in turn scampered away from him quickly) before turning to Josef. “Are you ok little buddy?” he asked, trying to sound so concerned and sympathetic. But before he could get a decent response, Josef already went out of the cafeteria, his face seemingly shaken. “See you soon Josef-dear!” he shouted across the room. “Boy was he shaken,” he chuckled, turning to get his caffeine drink.
He took a mental note to do as for a background check on Josef when he gets to his room (aside from asking for a new phone). But then he remembered that he got neither surname nor year-level from Josef. “Rats,” he said, taking a sip from his drink while ducking from the flying chicken in the cafeteria (“Hey whose chicken was that? Keep your pets off the cafeteria. Geez.”). He shook his head, upset that he’s reached quite a dead-end. “I guess I’ll just have to ‘bump’ to him again,” he smirked.
All his thinking about how to find Josef again made him a wee bit unaware of his surroundings, as he didn’t see the chicken walk/run back in front of him, causing him to fall backwards to the carrot stain, also making his hot drink fall flat on his shirt. “ARRRGHH!” he shouted as he felt the hot liquid pass through his shirt. “Gosh people! Can’t you be more careful? This outfit is more expensive that your lives!” he was angry now, his white pants stained with orange carrot juice and his light-blue shirt dripping with hot cappuccino. He stormed out of the cafeteria, his mind suddenly shifting from finding out more about Josef to how to regain his image.
