Ash took the fork with a smiled, nodding at what she had said. Sure, it was normal enough. If it was Ant giving him a tour, Ash would have been carried round the house, bridal style. Hell, he wouldn’t stand for it! But then again, it was impossible to break out of Ant’s grip, it was like a vice. Must be a feline thing. Sometimes he wondered if god accidentally made him a guy, and was actually planning on him to be a very scandalous girl. Well, either way, Ant was Ant and he was always going to think of a heterosexual partnership as grotesque. Ashley wasn’t to keen of sleeping with a guy anytime soon, even if Ant was slightly appealing -yes, he could judge him from a girls perspective. Some girls loved the mysterious emo guy, they found them irresistible sometimes. Sometimes girls hated them. Either way Ash wasn’t to hell bent of looking at things from a gay/girl point of view. Getting back to reality, Ash started -with a little effort- to eat the Bento May had prepared. He didn’t want to eat it at first, it was just to damn cute, and being around May for a while generally makes you a sucker for cute things in turn.
Ash got up from the sofa, following May into the kitchen, playing Ennie-Meanie-Minnie-Moe with the food sculpture because he didn’t know what part to eat next- all of it was so cute and he’d feel bad. But, eventually the taste got the better of him. Plus he hadn’t had anything to eat in the past ten hours, only having a sandwich before that. His stomach was beginning to rumble a little, and he was getting a sickly feeling like he usually did when he’d gone a little to long without anything to eat. Ash eventually didn’t care what he ate first because he was so hungry, and ate the first thing his fork came across. He swallowed a mouthful before shaking his head. Ant, Ant, Ant. He would be useless living alone. He followed her into the broken bathroom or laundrette as it seemed. He was surprised to see a little -or rather large- cat bound up toward them. May scoped the furry thing into her arms, and announced his name as ‘Boo’. Ash couldn’t help but think of ‘Monsters Inc’ whenever he heard that name. He stroked the cat a few times before May put Boo down. She lead him back upstairs and showed him the bathroom. Yeah, was this the room he walked in on just a few minutes ago? Yeah. He almost caught May going into the shower. Jeez he wouldn’t do that again. She pointed out the off limit room -how strange- and Ant’s room. She then proceeded to open her door and struck a pose. Ash found it only appropriate to clap in a very harmless and very joking manor. Of course it was quite hard to clap with a bowl in one hand a a fork in the other. Her room was organised well, clean, tidy, and completely different to his old room. He liked it a lot.
“It is a lovely room,” he said to her, stepping in and looking around. It was light, pale, but the teddies gave it a splash of colour. “Would you mind if I stayed in your room tonight? I don’t want Ant molesting me in the night!”
Ashley chuckled a little, finishing off the bento before butting it down on a drawer, stepping up to the smaller bed. She would probably stay in the bigger one, knowing May. He Didn’t really know why there was a spare bedroom. May’s friends perhaps? Sleep over’s weren’t that rare these days. Or maybe it was for another reason, but right now, all he hoped was that May spared him an awkward night with Ant
