Jaz was not really all that interested in snowball fights. As a matter of fact she would have much rather been inside with her cuddly black kitten then outside trying to make a snowball, but yet she decided to come out. It was her chance to meet new people and quite possibly make some new friends. Jaz considered herself to be friends with everyone, even people she had yet to meet, just because she trusted everyone. She had trust issues, but hers were the exact opposite of the norm. She couldn’t not trust people until they blatantly betrayed it. What were those odds?
Shivering delicately under her three layers of sweatshirts, Jaz picked up some snow in her black gloves and began to make a snowball. It was guys against girls, but she didn’t see very many guys around. She was pretty delayed in all the action, maybe ten minutes late, but that was because she had to find her boots. The ones that were comfortable, fit over her jeans AND protected her from the snow. They were stylish and comfortable, the things Jaz loved. Today her eyes were Black instead of their natural dark brown. She loved using coloured contacts because if a person only recognized her from her eyes, they’d never be able to find her.
She noticed that a guy had just swung down from a tree, leaving the back of his head wide open. Jaz didn’t quite know who he was. All things considered she hadn’t even seen his face, but she sneaked up behind him and wailed the snowball at the back of his head. She heard the snow impacting with something. She closed her eyes because she didn’t want to know if she hit him or missed him. Honestly she hoped she hit him, he shouldn’t have left his back so wide open. Bending down to pick up some more snow, Jaz’s rainbow coloured bangs fell in her face. She stood out in all the white but what did it matter? It was time to have fun!
