Closing his laptop and slipping it under his pillow, [completely safe, idiot-proof plan, thinks Robbie] the blonde ball of thunder leapt out of his bed and bundled up in his self-knit beanie, dark blue sweater and jeans before heading out of the dorm room for some fresh air. Along the way, he did all his flirting duties despite getting odd looks from the girls he threw his waggling eyebrows, winks and finger pistols at.
Almost getting charred to a crisp by a pyrokinetic, Robbie ran the next few miles or so from the corridor to outside, catching his breath only when he was in an isolated area without many people around. Once he was sure his fiery friend was long gone, Robbie walked out to enjoy the fresh air, taking in deep breaths of cold air, loving the cold weather.
After a few more lung wincing breaths, Robbie dropped down in the snow and wriggled around, enjoying the cold snow on his back. His cheerfulness gave the sun a brighter ray but because it was snowing and because Robbie was aware of his emotions, the heat from the sun wasn't damaging. Power control lessons were making him pretty proud of himself, something he hadn't allowed himself to feel especially at home.
Robbie did miss his little siblings but he was quite content here at Hammel. He felt safe. Nothing outside of the compound was bothering him. He kind of felt like Harry Potter in Hogwarts. The place was impenetrable and warm [figuratively speaking, obviously]. As those thoughts ran through his mind, he suddenly felt his face cool as the sun was blocked. "Erm, I'm grateful for the shade but could ya please step away?" He voiced out.
