The Details
Hair Color: Brunette
Eye Color: Green/blue
Any Piercings? None
Any Tattoos? A Rubix cube on his right shoulder, peace sign on his foot
Any Scars? Miscellaneous ones from obscure accidents over the ages
General Appearance: Jude has a lax sort of style - he doesn't much care for his general appearance, and therefore doesn't bother with trivial things like styles. He's usually caught in jeans and t-shirts, rarely found wearing shoes, even in the dead of winter. He never needs a heavy jacket, but bides to sporting tattered green sweatshirts quite often. His hair is insane, and since he has given up hope on it ever looking presentable, therefore it usually stays a curly mess atop his head. He cuts his hair regularly, despising it when it grows out and gives him a supremely white-bread afro. He likes hats, but doesn't wear them often. He has boyish features, getting him mistaken often for ages younger than he is - and he's always carded at bars. Always.
Personality: If there was one word to describe Jude, it would definitely be "bonkers" - or some synonym of that. Jude is insane, and hyper, and extremely optimistic all the time. He's probably the only morning person you'll ever meet. Jude likes to make people smile, and goes about it by doing silly things that generally makes people laugh at him, rather than with him. But he doesn't mind, as long as people are happy. He's caring, and strong headed. Jude is the kind of person that will bring you hot soup at three in the morning because you tweeted that you weren't feeling good and couldn't sleep. Always looking out for other people, he often forgets about himself and his own needs.
Your Vices
Likes: Turtles, being upside down, colours, espresso, smiles, bean bag chairs, lasagna, crayons, theatre/acting, standing on his head, drinking an entire gallon of milk in under a minute, singing to horrendous 80's music very loudly.
Dislikes: Scholarly junk, cooking (he burns everything), when people get hurt, rice cakes, frowns, dead things, driving.
Strengths: Being enthusiastic, using his power, making people laugh, acting.
Weaknesses: Keeping a straight face, dealing with his own sadness.
Fears: Hatred, people dying, turkeys.
Secret: He doesn't really know how to handle real problems, so he just makes stupid jokes to make people laugh and forget about them.

History
Like many children of the 80's, Jude's birth was widely celebrated. His parents were happily married, in an average home, of average age and size, with average jobs, and with one child already when the boy was born. Only to complete the normalcy of their household. Jude grew up in a pretty artsy community, but not particularly his home. His father, James, was a pediatric doctor, while his mother was a high school Mathematic teacher. But Jude and his elder sister Danielle did not attend the same school his mom worked in, instead went to the small Charter school in the relatively same area. The reason being was his sister's complaints of regular public school, and how the people there weren't up to her standards, and were mean to her, and such. So their mother finally got tired of the pestering and transfered them both over to the small school. Jude thrived there, starting out in fourth grade with a class size of 8 people. The school, though academic, was very centered around the arts and music programs, and immediately Jude found a love for drawing and theatre.
While striving in elementary and middle school, he made friends with just about everyone in the school. He was a hard child to miss, constantly hyped up about something or another, jumping around with enthusiasm first thing in the morning. He was popular, and most every liked him. Either that, or found him to be annoying - but those people came around eventually. Hey, it was a small school.
In high school, Jude sort of discovered his sexuality.... Well, not really discovered, more got it shoved on him when best friend Chuck decided it was a good idea to make out with him on the roof of his car. As fun as that was, Jude didn't ever get into a serious relationship with best friend Chuck, but did discover that day he liked boys as well as girl. More leaning toward boy. He also learned in that year that he wasn't quite so... normal. Not just the bisexual thing, no. Coming into contact with on of his theatre buddies, who evidently was pyrokenetic, he accidentally set the stage curtain on fire, and in turn burned himself pretty badly. He was discovered later by a Hammel recruiter, and at first thought to have the ability to control fire. It was later discovered that he could actually mimic other student's powers.
While at Hammel, he was as social as ever - he transitioned well from a small Charter school to the large Institute. Why?... Well, because he's Jude. He's always happy, no matter what. At HI, he made many good friends, and average grades. The teachers liked him well enough, but the trainers got frustrated with his inability to use his power without hurting himself. He ended up remaining at Hammel after senior year, and finally buckled down to learn how to control himself. And though he still does get hurt every once and a while, he does control his ability very well. Deciding he wanted to give back to the school, Jude became a trainer soon after mastering his ability, and now works with students regularly. He's seen as a fun teacher, the kind of guy that students still want to hang out with after school. He's been working at Hammel for nearly 10 years now, but took breaks in the middle to travel around, going to Brazil and Thailand... Just 'cause.
