Humored Yet? (Sawyer)

The sentence hit her ears and she grinned. Sure he was talking about the music, But she wasn't. "Well.. I suppose that makes two of us." With a smirk she sipped her drink and leaned back a little. What was she supposed to do now?! She never had to work this hard for sex. Usually the followed her with out her trying and undressed within minutes. Here they were now well into their evening together and still fully clothed! Was she suposed to say something? Give him a clue? Sawyer pondered just saying, 'well that was great, now lets get naked." but in her head it sounded stupid so she was sure it would sound worse outloud.

What was it that she was doing that had caught his eye the first time? Standing...Shit that wasn't much to go by. Tugging at a curl from her head she very quickly ran over a few things. Well, she knew he found her attractive, considering the fondeling of her posterior. What was sexy? This was great make out music, but she wasn't sure it was perfect for the type of people who were just meeting. These were more lover's songs. "The band is actually pretty great. You should take more time to dust off some of your less played tracks."

Right.. well that was fantastic if she wanted to keep up small talk. Why didn't she just go right into how she'd used one of their songs for a dance number? She'd more than likely talk all evening. And that wasn't what she wanted. Taking a bigger sip from her drink a better idea came into her head. "How are you on your drink? Need another?" She quirked an eyebrow a little and gave him a dangerous sort of daring smile.

Rhys was a little lost on what she meant with her response. She clearly already knew the music...so what did she have new to turn on now? He wasn't going to dwell on it for long, so he decided she just wasn't fully familiar with this particular song. Yeah, that had to be it. At least, it was what he decided what it had to be. At the moment, he wasn't sure what else to say or do; it was almost an awkward silence between them for a few moments, though he thought she looked incredibly cute when she played with her hair a little.

When she asked if he needed another drink, he looked at the one in his hand after catching her 'daring' expression. That almost looked like a challenge to him. "Hmm...not really," he said, quickly downing the rest of the drink in a few short moments. "But yes," Rhys added with a grin. "Offering to make another round for us?" Part of him was a little concerned about tearing through his store of alcohol with a random girl he met on the street, but she seemed nice enough. It was probably worth the cost.

If this was going to be Sawyer's game, Rhys was okay with that. Alcohol was something he could hold pretty well. He probably would still be more or less drunk when they ran out of things to drink, but that was a while from now. Until then, he'd play her game; it would certainly be a load of fun for the night.

She smiled and stood up. Going to the counter she pulled forward a few of her favorite flavors and set them in the living room. "I have this habbit of asking 'what's in it.' quite a bit. And a very good memory. That and my crazy love of lab sciences, led me to study bartenders quite a bit. So I could probably run a bar by myself." It had been a thought though a lot of what she'd make would end up going back to the bar just for consumption. Moving back to the kitchen she searched for some shotglasses before returning.

"You have a nice collection of alcohol. But I think if we want to do this again, we'll have to reinforce your stock a little." She laughed and set the shotglasses out. Taking up a whiskey and a peppermint schnapps she poored equal parts into the little glass and then topped it off with some Bacardi 151. She pushed it to him before reaching in her pocket and pulling out a lighter. "Blow it out and drink it fast." Grinning, Sawyer lit his drink on fire then her own. She did as she'd instructed him and then set the still warm glass down. She let out a laugh as she looked at the bottles for the next drink.

"That was a georgia snake bite." Sawyer smiled and looked up at him. "But honestly I think I bite harder." It was a poorly exicuted move, but she made it. The first actually provacative thing said all evening. But they both knew thats what was happening. Why bother to hide it? She went back to shuffeling threw the bottles and planning their next cocktail.

Rhys listened to her as she told about her experience with drinks; she probably did know quite about mixing drinks, especially if what she'd done was any indicator of her overall capabilities. She'd already fixed him some good stuff, and he wasn't going to turn it down. "I wouldn't mind a good restock if it meant have you come over here again," he replied, picking up the flaming glass.

He blew it out and quickly tossed it back, grinning at the warm sensation that raced down his throat and into his stomach. Rhys wasn't sure if that was the natural alcohol, the leftover heat from the flame, or the grin on Sawyer's face giving him that feeling. The small glass clicked against the table as he set it down, ready for the next blast to blood-alcohol level.

"That was a nice one," he said with a laugh, leaning into the couch, "But I'm not sure you do bite harder. That one was a bit rough. You really think you can beat it?" he asked, giving her his own daring look.

She was pooring him something with cinnamon schnapps as he spoke to her and she shook her head. This poor boy had no idea. "You are so hillarious." Passing him the spicy cocktail she pondered her options. It was basically an invitation to devour his flesh. "Well... I'm not exactly sure you want me to bite you." She smirked and looked at the table.

Ahhhh a grand bar trick. Getting up she found a little saucer and came back. "Look, I'll make you a bet." Bets were never a good thing to make with Sawyer Carson. The truth of the matter was, she rarely made a bet she wasn't positive she could win. And of course, her genius had given her ample enough knowlage to know that if he took this bet she would deffinately not loose.

She poored a shot of vodka into a shot glass then poored that onto the saucer. "The bet is.. If I can get thatvodka back into the glass without touching the plate or the glass what so ever, I win. And if I can't do it.. I loose." Now they needed stakes. But what could they be. "If I win.... Then you grow a pair and make a daring move toward the bedroom. If I loose, I'll go home and leave you to your thoughts." She grinned dangerously once more before waiting for his answer.

Rhys didn't have to think long before getting up from the couch. "Hold on a minute, I have to get something." He left the room quickly, going back to his bedroom and coming back in about a minute. It didn't take long at all, really. He sat down and looked at the vodka she had poured onto the saucer, not really having a clue how she was going to manage that.

"Alright, I'll take the bet. If the vodka gets back in the shot glass without you touching the plate or the glass, I'll 'make a move toward the bedroom' as you put it," he said with a smile. Rhys picked up the saucer and the glass then poured the vodka into the glass. "Well, crap. Looks like I lost the bet," his voice not sounding disappointed in the slightest amount before downing the shot.

Rhys stood up and reached toward his back pocket with his left hand. "May I see your hand?" he asked, already taking her hand in his and lifting it up without waiting for her permission. He quickly brought his left hand around and secured a handcuff to her wrist. Rhys smirked at Sawyer and started walking toward his bedroom, leaving the second cuff dangling. "The key's back here. You're more than welcome to come find it."
