APPLICATION • Gia's a sweetheart, but she has a bit of a minority complex. After her dad walked out, Gia's mother became a maid for the Grimley's, and since then, Gia's felt a bit like the servant of other people. She's polite and quiet, and goes out of her way to respect other people's privacy. This is a bit difficult since her power has not gotten the control she needs to keep out the surface thoughts of others. This means that, in crowds, anything that a person is actively thinking about is like a voice in her head. She tries her best to ignore the thoughts, but they cause migraines in crowds, and sometimes, she forgets that they are thoughts rather than someone actually speaking.

FRIENDS: Gia loves having friends, and while perhaps some of them may actually take advantage of her, she'd never complain about anything they do. She'd be more in awe that they would ever want to hang around her. She may not make the first move without having some reason to, but once she's friends with someone, she'd definitely go out of her way to hang out with them, and would do anything for them.

ENEMIES: There are very few people that Gia would see as an actual enemy. Even when she was being bullied a bit, she never really held it against those doing it. She knew every prank they were going to play and went along with it to make them happy. That being said, she would definitely be easy to take advantage of, and, should that happen, she may avoid your character, but it would never turn into truly spiteful relationship on Gia's side.

LOVERS: Gia is totally smitten by Craven, and even kissed him. They fought, but are actually going to give dating a go. Gia wouldn't dream of cheating, so she's not liable to have any other lovers right now.

APPLICATION • Becca's a bully and a bitch. She's mean spirited and she would really rather watch someone horrified or hurt than see them be all smiles and happy because, for her, emotions are a bit of a zero sum game. Someone else happy means she's not happy. She likes the attention, even if it is negative, that her antics get her, and more importantly, she enjoys having people talk about her.

FRIENDS: Probably not quite so common, they'd need to be okay with her bullying ways, and she'll probably accidentally insult them on occasion, but she is loyal, and generally, she'd rather not hurt the people in this group. Hell, if they had a problem with someone, she'd be first on the attack. The problem is staying in the group since stepping out of bounds is grounds for possible expulsion in her mind. It does depend on the infraction, and how you offer to repay her whether you get to stay.

ENEMIES: Victims? Ex-significant others? People who don't like her on principle due to her bullying? This is liable to be a HUGE category for Becca, because she doesn't care whether she has enemies. Also, mess with her horse and you end up on here faster than you can blink.

LOVERS: Becca is, how do I put this? She's aheart breaker. She loves having people fawn over her, and 'go out with her' and she will do whatever it takes to make them love her, because it's the ultimate prank. Get someone right where you want them, and then dump them. She's cheated, she's flat out dumped, she doesn't what's necessary to get the reaction she wants. That being said, she doesn't care about gender, but anyone looking for a heart breaking plot, sign up on the dotted line. She generally goes for people who will be easily whipped or, as she puts it "poor weak-minded saps."

APPLICATION • Lindsey likes to see other people happy. She gets into other peoples' business to make sure they end up happy, and when she can't, she at least dulls their unhappiness till they barely feel it. Yes, it means half the time she's a bit emotionally unstable and her moods will change with no explainable reason, but hey, at least whoever her "patient" was feels better, or at least more numb. She's also involved in dance team, track and horse-back riding, and hangs around the I Love Salsa Club in some of her free time.

FRIENDS: Lindsey would prefer to consider the vast majority of people her friends, or at least acquaintances, but obviously some would be closer than others. She's nice, she likes to lend a helping hand whenever she can, and really she'd do just about anything (that doesn't break the rules) to cheer someone up for a longer term than her powers allow.

ENEMIES: There will be plenty of people who don't like that she meddles in the businesses of others, and anyone who hangs out with, or likes Becca is probably going to fall into this category. There will also be the people who frequently break rules falling in here and disliking her for the simple fact that she is a tattle-tale.

LOVERS: Lindsey doesn't currently have a boyfriend, but she is completely open to having one. She is a one-man sort of girl and would want the relationship to completely even. However, Lindsey would have her moments of just wanting to be left alone, particularly after altering the emotions of someone depressed or angry. Lindsey's also terrified that if she's in a relationship, she'll accientally make the boyfriend feel something he doesn't really feel.

Hey there, Sera, I'm Fate, owner and operator of a handful of chars here on site. At least one of which would hit it off with Gia, I'm thinking.

Aisling x Gia - Aisling's also shy, also has a tendency to do whatever people want, and she's supposed to be "studying" people around her age. It would be quite within bounds for her to notice Gia and to approach her at some point, possibly to help or whatever. Plus, Aisling's the type to be loyal. She's also a super-good listener. Kinda has to be.


Max x Gia - Max is the exact opposite of Aisling. Brash, loud, clingy, and almost violent, she'd be more than willing to bully Gia into liking her, or even defend Gia if it came down to it. Max is usually more in the befriending zone than anything else, but she does have an uncanny penchant for punching people...

I've also got Izzy here, who's the super nice, awkward teenage boy with a giant sized hero complex, so that's a possibility. Unless Gia's brand new to Hammel, she's got no reason to meet Recruiter Tim Lyne. My last char, Naomi Green, is something of an ebil plotter, so not much there either. But all are up for the taking, if you've some desire beyond what I've suggested here.

So I can totally see Gia and Aisling getting along well, especially since Aisling wouldn't have to talk around Gia, though Gia might encourage her to try, or help her with some of the nuances or whatever. I think they'd definitely be friends.

Max and Gia would definitely be interesting to thread, but I don't know exactly how their relationship would end up turning into, since Max doesn't like people who let people bully them, which Gia most definitely does. Gia would probably end up being friends with her if bullied into it, but would end up begrudging Max silently for any mistreatment (or punches)

I haven't checked out Izzy or the others yet, and I'm meant to be getting ready for class (*is a bad girl*) but I'll definitely check them out when I get back this aftern-evening (depending on when my lab lets out)

Oops, I should've been a little clearer. Unless Gia is Jesus, she's not going to get Aisling to talk: Aisling's biologically mute. They'd probably still get on well.

That sounds like a pretty standard relationship with Max, and it sounds like the Aisling x Gia thing would probably be better, if at least for now. So we can go with that, if you're up for it.

And don't worry about being all that bad. I'm technically doing this at work, so you're hardly alone xD

Ahhh, okay, I was going by the app, and I wasn't completely sure. Gia may actually still attempt it once anyway though. Won't succeed, but would try until she knew it wasn't biologically possible.

Stupid lab ran almost as long as it's alloted. Why? Short lab. Bunch of questions that we couldn't actually answer and a professor demanding we answer them anyway. So there were a lot of questions about the questions that couldn't be answered. -.- Anyway, you certainly aren't the only person I know who comes online while working.

I’m not really sure how these two would be in the long-run, but with their current common bond *ehemCravenehem* and Gia’s handy-dandy ability, Romeo’s dead. Hahaha. But yeah, Romeo’d feel soo bad about what he did (was doing, because apparently it’s not a one-time thing) with Craven that he’d most probably try to avoid Gia as much as he can. But since Jam likes making things complicated for his characters, an unexpected meeting would be swell. I think. :B.

Faye&Jared
Faye loves the spotlight, well then, meet the world’s eternal fanboy. Jared’s pretty much a big ball of sunshine that’s easily amused and would most likely overreact. He’d be the perfect audience to Faye’s acts, giving her more than a warm applause no matter how seemingly simple the act is. He’s also a dancer, and is Faye can happily copy him, he’d be the happiest kid ever.

Nicole&Ethan
They both go to UVM, so they should meet at one point or the other. At first I’d say that Ethan and her would get along well (he’d try to shield him away from his best friend who has a fondness for blondes) but recent events have made Ethan quite the ‘cheater’. (Not that recent, since it happened two/three months ago, but still).

So yeah, apologies for the rambly and not-so-coherent plotting. >.<. I also have Zac (the stereotypical/cliché spoiled princess) and Mason (the ten year-old child in a thirty year-old man’s body), but those three have more or less concrete-ish plot ideas that the two. That can definitely work. If you want, she's been putting up flyers about roommates in her open thread. They could meet that way. There's a link in the doobleydoo over there under the cbox. And since he's all physics-y, and physics = math, she may well make him her personal calculator, and or bug him with math questions. He may not like that anthropology and psychology are very related fields though.

GIA && ROMEO

Well this was certainly bound to come up, and Gia would love to meet Craven's 'friend' though she probably wouldn't take well to knowing he's Cravie's lover. Luckily, unless he 1) blurts it out or 2) thinks about it around her, she'd not going to know about it. And even if he thinks about it around her, if there are a lot of other people around, the thought may well slip past. Also luckily, or maybe not, she would defend Craven's honor, even against someone's thoughts. She may well yell at him for trying to slander Craven like that, and yeah. Interesting thread methinks.

FAYE && JARED

You've officially excited her. She wants an audience, and if he's willing to clap no matter what, she'll be ecstatic. Also, she would love to steal (copy) skills from him, dancing or otherwise. The more abilities the better, after all.

NICOLE && ETHAN

I'm debating throwing her into the party thread, which can be how they meet if you want, or we can thread them separately at some point. Either way works, and she's up for a good time with whomever right now.

[Annabelle Coronova]

As Anna comes out of her shell, she's going to be looking for more people to talk to, to befriend. Although previously painfully shy, she's changing, maturing, but that doesn't mean she's going to completely flip flop indefinitely. She won't ever be that totally outgoing person, but she will try to start a conversation every now and again. She'll also gravitate towards people like her, with her sort of gentle personality. This being said, I think that Gia and Anna would get along well. They both have their insecurities, just like any human, meta- or not. I think it would be nice to have someone similar to be around, with a low-energy vibe so she doesn't become too worn out or exhausted by the varying personality types.
