[Taeyeon Kai]

“I made a couple of friends with the seniors when I moved here,” Tae told Ethan with a smile, turning so she faced him in the water. “I got to see through some yearbooks and they told me about you. Good things, mind you,” she explained. She grinned when she saw Robbie cuddling her puppy, then looked away when he started getting undressed. Sure, she would always be Robbie’s friend, but there were still those uncomfortable feelings that arose whenever she saw him, and it was just better to ignore them than to act on them. Besides, she heard that he was always with another girl named Estelle, from what her Hammel friends told her.

Hearing splashing, Tae’s eyes widened and she turned to see Robbie cannonball into the water, splashing her with water. She wiped the water from her eyes and looked around, trying to find the blonde boy, when she felt arms around her waist. Suddenly she was submerged in the water, legs kicking out to catch the sand and she pushed up, emerging in a spray of sparkling water and feminine outrage. Of course Robbie gave his trademark innocent boy grin, and of course she had the perfect idea to get him back. She dove back under the water, found his legs, and pulled down his shorts all in the matter of five minutes.

Taking her prize, she emerged and laughed in good humor before throwing said shorts towards Ethan’s direction. “That is what you get for dunking me, Wilkes!” she called out, floating until she was hip deep in water and standing, hugging her midsection as she laughed harder. Then she swam back to his side and managed to flip back onto his shoulders, holding onto his hair for balance.

[Ethan White]

“As long as they’re not talking about the time I puked during the 70s-themed dance, I’m good,” laughed Ethan as Tae clarified his confusion. Hopefully she’ll know he’s merely joking about that. (He did throw up during the Halloween dance that said year. Only he managed to run to the bathroom before letting it all out. He blames Victor – a classmate of his – for putting too much wasabi in his sushi dipping sauce that night). “Hopefully you’re enjoying PR High. If you’re in any trouble, just tell me. Here’s my– Oh.” Before he could finish his sentence, the Asian girl was already in splashing about. “I’ll just give you my number later then,” he grinned, turning to Robbie to nudge and wink at him, as if saying something along the lines of “Who’s the cheesy one now?”.

While he had fun looking at the girl(s) strip and get wet, he playfully flinched when he saw the blonde stripping just beside him. “Eww dude, have some decency will you?” Hooray for a double standard. He was just about to follow the weather manipulator to the lake when Robbie’s pants suddenly smacked him in the face. “Goodness me Taeyon,” laughed Ethan, removing the wet (and heavy) garment from his face and throwing it back to the shore, “I don’t want a taste of Robbie’s groin, thank you very much.” Once he’s waist-deep into the water, he promptly submerged himself, rising up very much like the ones in TV, complete with the whole shake-his-hair-a-bit-then-brush-it-back gesture. No, he’s not showing off. Whatever gave you that idea?

An idea did sprout in the boy’s mind as he saw the childhood friends playing with each other. He swam stealthily beside the blonde girl, tapped her shoulder in an effort to warn her then took a deep breath and went below, wedging his head in between her legs. Once he’s sure his position is secure, he held her legs in place and made her sit on his shoulders, slowly rising up as he told her to lock her ankles together. “Sorry ‘bout that Jalen,” he nodded, hoping he didn’t shock her too much. (He gave her enough of a warning, didn’t he?). “Since we’re in the lake and equally distributed, what do you say to a good ol’ chicken fight?”

[Robbie Wilkes]

The look on Tae's face had been mistakenly ignored by the weather manipulator and he paid a steep price for it when she pulled down his shorts and threw it at Ethan. Breaking away from the sudden embarrassment and anger at losing his shorts, he laughed at Ethan's expression before torpedoing towards Tae under water and dunking her again in the water, splashing about with his childhood friend without much care in the world.

"You're so dead, Kai!" He laughed, splashing her with the warm water. "But the thing of it is, I don't actually care about walking around naked. I'll probably just announce to everyone who sees that I'm your friend." He further pointed out before swimming over to shore just as Ethan dove in.

Robbie didn't see him picking Jalen up but as he jumped out of the lake to grab at his trousers, he noticed a few runners staring at him and he nodded at them, flashing his grin. "Like what you see?" he asked before jumping back into the water, reusing his trousers again and making sure the drawstrings were tightly tied.

He grinned at Ethan's position under Jalen and nodded enthusiastically at his idea. "Oh yeeah! Tae. Don't fidget too much!" He swam over to Tae and pulled her up on his shoulder, gripping her thighs tight to him to make sure she didn't fall. Despite [not so] recent events, Robbie undoubtedly saw her as his childhood friend which meant she was still under his 'protection'. He wouldn't forgive himself if she actually fell and hurt herself at all.

"Alriiiight. You okay there, Jay?"

[Jalen August]

Jalen watched the scene unfold before her, and in the splashes and dashes going on between Tae and Robbie, she could only hope that the boy hadn’t decided to go commando for the day. Taking a few steps deeper into the water, a smile held fast to her face, especially when Ethan finally did emerge from the water. Was he trying to be a model or something? The blonde turned her back on the group for a moment in order to suppress her laughter at the brunette boy and regain composure.

Feeling someone tapping her shoulder, Jalen spun around in time to see Ethan submerge back into the water. Just what was he planning on doing? Trying to stay balanced as she found herself nearly suspended in mid-air, the girl locked her ankles in front of Ethan suddenly and slammed them into the boy’s chest. This had of course been a reaction to suddenly being on his broad shoulders, and had happened in a matter of moments. “Sorry!” She said to him, touching the top of his head way in a strange way. No, this wasn’t going to work for an apologetic gesture.

“I’m up for a round though,” Jalen said with a bit of spunk and enthusiasm, flexing her arms in a very macho way. If the boys were going to show off, she was going to play along too. “Bet I could destroy Tae,” she said, giving a wink to the other female in the group. She was only horsing around. Both girls seemed pretty fit, and it would be pretty up in the air who would win in the end. Jalen was a good sport though, and wouldn’t classify herself as a sore loser.

[Taeyeon Kai]

The blonde boy managed to dunk her again before trotting out of the lake to grab his shorts. Tae shrieked playfully and covered her eyes, even though she had seen Robbie naked before. The most recent time had been…she wasn’t going to go there. Her cheeks heated and she uncovered her eyes to see Jalen atop Ethan’s shoulders and she grinned, knowing what this would mean. She turned and watched as Robbie walked back in the water.

He hauled her back onto his shoulders and she straightened her back, clamping her legs around Robbie’s neck in a way that would ensure she didn’t fall and that she didn’t choke her friend. Feeling his hands on her bare legs, she blushed a little, but she knew he would never see it. “Well, don’t wiggle so much and I won’t fall,” she told him mock-sternly, flicking his ear playfully before facing Jalen.

Seeing the other girl flex her arms, Tae grinned and flexed hers back. “Jalen, I’ll have you know that I know three different martial arts and the very rare Wuxi Finger Hold,” Tae warned playfully, winking back at the girl. “I will defeat you before you could ever lay a finger on me!” Okay, even that was cheesy, so Tae dissolved into a fit of giggles.

[Ethan White]

A slight oomph escaped the brunette when Jalen’s ankles hit his chest. He knew it wasn’t intentional, without the least bit of force, but boy were those ankles hard or what? He nearly fell over really, which isn’t a good thing considering he has the blonde on his shoulders. Thank goodness wrestling gave him relatively quick reflexes (as well as considerable core strength). And that the lake bottom wasn’t so soft for his feet to sink in. It would’ve been quite the disaster for them both. (And that’s not counting the fact that Jalen might be angry with him, making him lose the shot at her number. Damn).

After a good number of close calls, Ethan finally succeeded in righting him and Jalen, helping her steady herself on her shoulders as well as making sure her ankles are locked properly behind him. “You good back there?” he asked, shaking his head from side to side when he felt the girl’s hands on his head. “Don’t worry, I won’t let you down.” Somebody please tell Ethan to stop with all his cheesy lines. It totally does nothing but make him look more of a fool than he already is. (Seems Robbie’s earlier interference made the boy so off his game).

“That would’ve been real scary Tae, if Robbie would’ve been a real threat too,” taunted the boy, smirking widely as he slowly walked to the childhood buddies. He visibly slowed down when they got closer, trying to get a feel of the blonde boy. “Just distract Tae, ok?” And with that, he promptly released his hold on Jalen’s legs (as long as she’s got her ankles tangled up behind him, she’s good) and gave Robbie’s shoulders a good shove.

Nope. Ethan claims he’s totally not taking things seriously. Not at all.

[Robbie Wilkes]

Just because Tae asked him not to wiggle, that was exactly what he did. But of course, he held on to her tightly, not actually wanting her to fall. As she spoke, Robbie laughed at Jalen's flexing, not aware that his own friend was doing the same thing.

Ethan's burn was met with a big laugh from Robbie but the shove made him almost squeal as his balance was thrown. He quickly regained composure and attacked Ethan straight in the abs, tickling the other boy wholeheartedly. "Try and escape from this!" Robbie exclaimed with a huge grin.

[Jalen August]

Wobbling momentarily before Ethan got his balance, Jalen was laughing lightly as he placed her legs properly over his shoulders. "Watch where you put your hands there bud," she warned, but her voice was light and warm. Holding her hands up not to gain her balance, the blonde watched Ethan shove Robbie, and she grinned. She wasn't sure who would win, but it would be fun either way.

Not really sure if Ethan would be ticklish or not, she reached over to Tae and grabbed onto her forearms, trying to pry her off of Robbie's shoulders. Jalen was a little taller than the other girl, but if Tae really knew all the sports she claimed to, then she might just beat Jalen with a flick of her wrist. "You're going down!" She said, pulling the girl to the right, hopefully putting her in the water.

Let's see what happens.

[Taeyeon Kai]

Tae kept her eyes on the blonde girl, knowing that she was her real target. She made to tug the blonde girl when Robbie was pushed over and Tae placed her hands on his shoulders, holding on for dear life as she laughed. “I told you not to wiggle, Wilkes!” she told him, bopping the back of his head in her reprimand.

She felt Jalen grab her forearms and wrench her to the side, hoping to topple her off balance, but Tae moved her legs so that her ankles hooked beneath Robbie’s shoulder blades and clamped her thighs around his neck, using her leg and core muscles to stay atop her blonde friend. Tae laughed at Jalen in a friendly manner. “You’re not getting me down that easily, girlfriend,” she teased before trying to do the same thing to her, hoping she would fall into the water too.

[Ethan White]

“Woah, woah WOAH!” was all Ethan could say as he tried to dodge Robbie’s skillful grabby hands while remembering to keep Jalen close enough to Tae so she can still do something against the two. He isn’t really that ticklish except for his abs (or the region around them rather); a weakness Robbie knows too well (how he doesn’t remember) and apparently wouldn’t think twice of exploiting. “HOMAYGASH STOP IT!” he shouted in between laughs, his strength being drained the longer he tries to endure the blonde’s wretched finger work.

Out of options, Ethan tapped Jalen’s knee twice to let her know that he’d be moving back. “Those hands and fingers are deadly I tell you,” chuckled the boy, panting as he looked at the blonde weather manipulator with a mock glare. He promptly looked up to Jalen, nodded, and rushed to the duo once more. In a last-ditch effort, he grabbed the other boy’s trousers waistband, tried to wiggle his feet around Robbie’s and tried to push the boy. Hope it all works well though, else it’ll backfire and push him and Jalen down.

Or worse, take all four of them down.

[Robbie Wilkes]

Tae's reprimand made him laugh as he tried to dodge Ethan's octopus hands. "Dude, seriously I can't help it! Mr. Grabbypants here is kinda good at making me wiggle!" he laughed out loud, getting a tighter grip on Tae's legs to keep her from falling over.

She sure had a good grip on his head to be sure but damn it all if Ethan won this. But victory looked to be siding the older boy when Robbie's trousers were grabbed and he could feel his feet shuffled out of balance and instinctively he grabbed Ethan's arms as he slowly but surely started to tip backwards. And with the added weight of Tae on top of his shoulders, Robbie found himself plummeting backwards with his deathly grip on Ethan.

"Holy baaaaaa-!!!" Robbie yelled out before he was submerged into the water.

[Jalen August]

It looked like her and Ethan were going to win, especially now that Robbie was tipping over. However, Jalen looked up at Tae as she felt the brunette and the blonde boy falling back, reminded that Tae was still hanging onto her arms. Jalen tried not to shriek as she was pulled forward with the falling duo, but she couldn't help it - she also couldn't help the wicked smile on her face as she instinctively latched her legs around Ethan's neck. It seemed like the whole crew was going down this time around.

Feeling the water envelope her whole body, Jalen held her breath and tried not to hurt anyone but landing on them. Tae was still hanging on tightly to her and Jay was still grabbing Ethan's head between her legs. She quickly let go of her partner and held Tae's arms in trying to get up, not wanting anyone to drown. Emerging quickly, the girl was looking into the happy eyes of Taeyeon, and she sighed a breath of relief, promptly letting go of the other girl. "So who won that one?" She asked the other girl, looking around in the water for the boys.

Hopefully there would be no more surprises, right?

Jalen checked herself over and found her top getting loose, so she quickly re-tightened it, glad that was the only thing out of whack. "Everyone alright?" She asked, her hands behind her back, looking at the water.

[Taeyeon Kai]

Ethan and Robbie were wiggling around and Tae could feel that her friend would be going down. Her grip was still on Jalen’s forearms, keeping her and the blonde girl steady on the unsteady boys. After a suspended moment, Tae fell into the cool water with her hands still on Jalen, her legs locked around her friend’s torso. She released her hands and unlocked her legs, pressing on the silt to emerge from the water.

She felt Jalen’s grip and smiled at the blonde girl, grinning from ear to ear. “I think it was a tie, since we all fell down,” she replied, running her fingers through her dark hair to slick it back. Spotting Robbie not too far away, she walked to his side and bopped him on the side of the head. “I told you not to wiggle around, and we lost, Wilkes! I will never forgive you!” Saying it with a stern tone but with a smile anyway, Tae walked back to Jalen’s side.

“Is Ethan okay?” she asked the blonde girl, looking a little worried.

[Ethan White]

The plan backfired. Well, more than backfired actually, considering how he was only anticipating falling down along the Robbie-Tae duo but actually experienced death grips on his arms and neck. His only consolation was he didn’t choke (nor did he get his arms pulled off).

The teen barely had time to react as water suddenly splashed on his face, causing him to accidentally swallow quite the mouthful of bacteria-infested lake water. He flailed around for a bit, rising up only after the legs around his shoulders were removed. “It’ll take more than that to get rid of me Taeyeon,” laughed Ethan, coughing slightly are he rose out of the water, “Thanks for the concern though. Appreciate it.” Since he has no face to save from all the jabs Robbie gave him earlier, he figured adding a(n extremely cheesy) wink wouldn’t hurt.

“It was clear that Jalen and I won,” he grinned, casually wrapping his arms around the blonde’s shoulders, “I mean, flailing Robbie hit the water first right? With his big butt, there’s no question about that.”

Yes Robbie, he’s calling you fat.

[Robbie Wilkes]

"Heeeey!" he protested at the bop but laughed as Ethan emerged from the water. "If I didn't know any better, Tae, I'd say you just want to find a reason to touch me again." He joked, not thinking too much about the consequence of using those words. Ethan and Jalen didn't know Tae and Robbie's history but with that, they could very well pick up on the allusion.

The wink from Ethan made Robbie laugh but he didn't say anything in regards to it. After what happened with the pick up line debacle earlier, he didn't want the boy to hate him even more!

"Well hey Ethan," Robbie wriggled his eyebrows at the older boy, choosing to joke instead of taking offense. "I didn't know you were checking my ass out." He exaggerated the wink and walked out of the lake in slow mo before striking a pose just for Ethan.
