It was her first bar night off in....how long again?
Oh yeah since she started serving alcohol.
Thanks to her brother, and his random return to Pilot Ridge, and his donation to help start her bar, she had been taking more and more time off from the Kafe (leaving it in the capable hands of her staff) to get her place ready to expand to a second story. It was all pretty much set. She has all her permits, the construction company is hired, and all they are waiting on is the date to begin construction. Next week.
How was she off tonight? Sett told her if she came in to work behind the bar, he'd drag her back to her house and tie her up somewhere. Sam was there during this conversation and he offered to purchase the rope. So at five o'clock, she went home, put some laundry in the wash and sat down on the couch and started to doze off. She snapped awake at exactly seven, bored as all get out.
She just couldn't sit there. She had to do something. She got dressed for the dancing scene and stepped out into the night. Of course she drove first--Kali was not a person that pregamed--and she parked at her lovely establishment because she had a specific parking spot in the back labeled, MINE not YOURS.
She walked up around for a while, trying to locate a club she'd really like to prowl inside, but nothing really....spoke to her.
She ended up back at the Kafe without realizing it. She snuck in, however, and hid in the crowd, until a guy (who didn't recognize her) drug her to the bar to buy her shots. Sett had yet seen her change of hair color (from red to pink) but she had a feeling he'd give her a stern look, so she ducked away from the bar and turned immediately into someone.
"Hey!" She blurted, but she was smiling as she turned to look at the probably drunk person.
