The words reached Leon's ears and almost instantly he calmed down. But they had been spoken a few moments to late. Before he even knew what had happened he was pinned against a wall with the force of a small Mac truck. His head slammed against the wall and instantly he felt pain start. He was staring down at a very angry very strong male. He could barely breathe, but he heard and understood every word Cody said. He could tell just how much the other man was feeling, and had he not been in pain he might have actually felt some sympathy for him. He was just waiting for the feeling of a hard fist driving his head back into the wall.
Much to Leon's surprise he was left to fall to the floor; not that it helped much, on the way down he cracked his side on a chair and then landed his head on a table. He fell to the cold dirty floor. He lay there for a few moments, his vision was having trouble focusing, but he was sure he could see the shape of Cody moving towards the door. He would let him go this time, he had more than redeemed himself in Leon's eyes. and probably Jalen's as well. He was laying on the floor for what felt like 10 minutes before he even found out that Jalen was still in the kafe. He was mad right now; at himself, at Cody, and even a little at Jalen. There was some things he would have liked to know before he got his ass handed to him.
"I'm fine." Leon lied through his teeth as he slowly got himself to his feet. "Let's just finish our coffee and go somewhere else." He continued as he walked slowly back to the table they had been sitting at. By now people were already looking at them, and he had enough on his mind. She should be with Cody. He couldn't interfere with that, they both very obviously had feelings for each other. Leon didn't even want to be here anymore, nor did he want to be with anybody. He was in pain, and he felt like what had been a great day had gone absolutely nowhere. Maybe next time it could be better. He sat at the table waiting for Jalen; she had some explaining to do, and he wasn't sure if he'd be able to handle it.
